Senior Aviation Planner
Responsibilities
in the role include but are not limited to :
- Performing planning activities as part of a larger planning team
- Working collaboratively with engineering teams to support design projects
- Participating in and directing the production of high-quality exhibits and documents to communicate the results of the planning study elements
- Leading / managing planning projects and working closely with our clients
- Contributing significantly to the overall success of the team and the team’s projects
- Pursuing certifications (AICP, AAAE CM, PMP), as appropriate

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, aeronautical science, planning, engineering, or a related field
- Technical expertise in standard airport planning procedures and approaches.
- Knowledge of FARs, FAA Advisory Circulars, and FAA orders that apply to airport planning
- Proficient in tabulation, data management, software, and publication programs used for airport planning
Preferences
- Previous experience in the FAA Southern Region
- At least 2 years of experience in a consulting firm environment
- At least 2 years of experience working with FAA ADIP

Aviation Civil Project Manager

- Project management of aviation design projects for commercial service and general aviation airports
- Construction administration and oversite for aviation clients
- Market research and business development to create / expand industry relationships to pursue and win engineering and planning projects at commercial service and general aviation airports
- Collaborate and coordinate with multi-disciple teams of design engineers and technicians

- Responsive and consistent in communications

Project manager aviation
Garver’s growing Oklahoma Aviation team is seeking a Project Manager that will be responsible for performing a wide array of aviation-related design, planning, grant administration, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports.
Duties and responsibilities of this role will include :
- Project support for runway and taxiway construction, airfield lighting and signage installation, access road construction, drainage improvement and pavement rehabilitation projects
- Significant design and construction oversight for multiple general aviation clients
- Collaborating and / or coordinating design teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians
- Coordination with clients and funding agencies
- Provide outstanding service
