Manufacturing Engineer

Position Description :

o Manage all A / E firm design work and schedule for tooling support steel and concrete pit engineering. o Develop the Facility Section SOW to include the overall PF100 and PF200, reference documents, and set up of SharePoint for contractor bid document storage.

o Coordinate the Installation Bid Package :

  • Obtaining all SOWs from functional leads to compile into an overall bid package.
  • Coordination of the Detailed Equipment Descriptions, the individual Advanced Feasibility groups are to write their own SOW for their respective tools and equipment.
  • Work with Purchasing to determine contractor bid list.
  • Organize contractor bid meeting.
  • Receive and analyze installation bids, compare to cost study, make recommendation to Program Implementation on contractor selection.

Work with the individual Advanced Feasibility group for this analysis, but the individual groups shall analyze their own costs.

Generate and track Purchase Order to release date per the Master Schedule.

Skills Required :

  • Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD software for plant layout
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office software applications; i.e., MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint *Basic working knowledge of MS Project planning software for execution of manufacturing equipment and building system projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening and feedback
  • Ability to work independently, in a team environment, with minimal supervision

Experience Required :

Experience with large scale large scale industrial facilities

Experience Preferred :

Automotive manufacturing experience

Education Required :

Bachelor’s degree required

Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator serves as the direct interface between the project team members such as Project Procurement, Lead Sourcing, Specialist Inspection Coordinator, and Expeditors to obtain information required to prepare maintain and consolidate internal and external logistics reports and query requests.

Preparation of all logistics reporting required by the Owners team

Maintenance of the duty paid roster and preparation of refund application

Assist logistics team with internal DEC reporting and query requests

In coordination with the appointed Freight Forwarder and as guided by the Logistics Lead assist with the day-to-day monitoring of shipment status and report any situation which could affect the shipment of materials outside the estimated delivery period

As guided by the Logistics Lead assist with the management of freight quote requests and forecasting

Assist with any other logistics related tasks as guided and required from time to time by the Logistics Lead

Investigate work process non-compliance determining root cause and recommending corrective action

Contribute to work process improvements

Participates in an empowered team

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of project and logistics administration experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred

Mega Capital Projects experience preferred

Experience in Microsoft Word Excel Power Point Access

Experience associated with freight management contract compliance

Interpersonal effectiveness with Project Teams JV partner relations external vendors and parent stakeholders is critical to success

Multiple culture experience is preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Sound judgment and analytical abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to multitask without making errors
