Agronomy Sales
We are currently looking for an Agronomy Sales Specialist. This position has tremendous upward mobility with a well recognized Ag retailer.
If you can make cold calls, are a self-starter, and have a passion for Agronomy, this opportunity is for you.
Position Duties :
- Identify and create business opportunities in a designated territory.
- Visit current and potential growers to identify needs.
- Educate and present Seed, Chemical, and Fertilizer solutions to individuals and groups
- Develop and maintain Corn and Soybean plots
- Increase sales utilizing the entire coop portfolio of products and services
- Conduct and present scouting reports and soil samples
- Assist operations with service and delivery of goods sold
Position Requirements :
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work long hours all season outdoors
- Verified work history with a proven sales record
- Knowledge of row crops, fertilizer, and chemistry in designated territory
- Ability to provide fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers
- 3-5 years Ag Sales experience
A CCA, CDL, and Agronomy Degree are beneficial but not required.
