Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

Additionally, the Staff Accountant is responsible for supervising other areas within the Finance Department under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, including payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures.

The Security Supervisor is a part of the team responsible for the security and safety measures throughout the Hotel. Write comprehensive incident reports and conduct thorough investigations. Maintain report records, assist and follow-up on investigations, and approve reports and logs.

Initiates and assists General liability reports. Promotes loss prevention through training and awareness throughout the building to reduce claims.

Project an image of friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to provide personalized services to all building occupants, workers, and neighbors, whether over the phone or in person.

Act as a liaison with all law enforcement agencies, city and federal agencies and hotel associations.

Respond to and mediate all non-emergency security calls, minor injuries, disputes, stressful, and complicated issues etc.

Contain and transport items potentially contaminated in accordance with Blood Borne Pathogen program and training.

Provide basic security services, key control, guest and function room lock problems / reprogramming, guestroom safe malfunctions, and lock out.

Patrol the propertylocking and unlocking restricted or back of house areas

Respond to homeowner’s residences for fire or intrusion alarms

Respond, remain calm and address disturbances, medical situations, crimes and threats to life and property

Perform patrols of the property using a marked Security vehicle

Assist with the handling, safe keeping and returns of Lost and Found items

Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, go up and down steps and lift 50 pounds

WHAT TO BRING

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

Ability to accurately read, write and Communicate

Strong customer Service skills

Qualify and possess a State required Security Guard Card

Pass an Emergency Medical Responder class and become certified

  • The Security Supervisor will assist the director in supervising the Hotel Safety team; ensure overall safety for all employees and hotel guests;
  • act as a member of the Emergency Response team responding in cases of fire, accidents, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance;
  • correct and report fire hazards or health and safety hazards; report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations;

assist in managing department key control systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. Prior experience with safetyandsecuritywithin a hotel and / orlaw enforcement a plus.

Qualifications include :

Prior experience leading a team
