As part of our Finance team, you’ll work in the Management Accounts team, providing a range of financial services including monthly management reporting, performance reports, statutory reports, and budget production.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Providing a high-quality service to ForHousing and its group members
  • Supporting accountants to deliver month-end and year-end cycles
  • Carrying out financial reconciliations of control accounts and transaction analysis
  • Assisting with preparing reports and transactional data
  • Supporting the Finance Business Partner and providing monthly and ad-hoc management information

What we’re looking for :

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills
  • Experience of extracting information from IT systems

  • Monitoring budgets, detailing variance analysis, and ensuring financial forecasts are challenged
  • Producing internal reports for budget holders
  • Supporting budget holders with guidance and training, and providing insight into expected internal controls
  • Identifying and monitoring opportunities for budget efficiencies
  • Ensuring value for money in all costs
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations

What we’re looking for :

  • AAT qualification
  • CIMA / ACCA part-qualification, or equivalent would be ideal
  • Experience in management accounts production, budgets and forecasts
  • An excellent communicator with great teamwork skills
