We are a national emergency response restoration and general contractor specializing in the return of compromised property to their pre-loss condition.
We work with our clients to restore their properties. Our team restores commercial, multifamily, hospitality, and educational properties from water damage, flood, fire, smoke, and natural disasters.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT MANAGER
As a Project Manager, you are the voice, personality, and trusted partner for prospective and current First Onsite clients.
Your positive, friendly disposition and leadership skills allow you to build relationships with ease while managing projects, generating business, and writing estimates.
Your solid understanding of the true costs of projects ensures proper expectations are set with all the appropriate parties and that projects are completed on time and under budget.
With your outstanding organizational and time management skills, you seamlessly transition from overseeing subcontractors on job sites to executing marketing strategies and building rapport with insurance adjusters, property managers, property owners, and other potential business sources.
Your determination and perseverance are evident as you deliver top-quality, completed projects with profitable margins and simultaneously manage all phases of the business development cycle with individual goals and First Onsite objectives in mind.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Prior experience with restoration (water / fire) projects
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements
- Track record of successful project management experience (leading crews, budget, scheduling, etc.)
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct
- Experience reading blueprints / architectural plans
- Must be located in Portland, OR area

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER
As a ConstructionProject Manager, you play a key role in understanding, evaluating, developing, and executing scopes of work and the overall management of projects to ensure success, efficiency, and profitability throughout the life cycle of each project.
From soliciting and approving proposals from subcontractors to preparing project schedules, your attention to detail ensures a smooth operation.
You tackle problems head-on, stepping in when additional responsibilities arise to support and assist crews. As the gatekeeper of paperwork and documentation, you maintain accurate records and reports.
Safety and quality are paramount, and you ensure work is being performed up to industry and First Onsite standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum : 2 years restoration / construction industry experienceBasic industry training and seven (7) current certificationsIntermediate computer skills - MS, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook (Emails)Intermediate ability in reading and understanding Xactimate scopes and blueprints / architectural plansAdvanced knowledge of local, state, and federal code requirements
- Knowledge and experience with construction drawings, specifications, and other construction related documents including take offs required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree preferred
- Valid driver's license required
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must manage working in a busy, service-oriented team under stress to meet deadlines, deal with competing priorities, and demanding service requirements
- Must be able to work overtime, on weekends and able to respond 24 / 7
- May attend disaster sites and be near hazardous environments and conditions. Travel may be required

- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, preferably with solution-based sales experience
