It is expected that you reside within the First District and remain located within the district unless otherwise approved by your management and HR management.

The Social Media Coordinator supports the Boston Fed's activities in public relations, organizational communications, media relations, and government relations by coordinating anddeveloping content for the Bank’s social media channels.

The person in this critical position on the public affairs team is expected to bring creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for using social media tomake complex topics related to financial services, community development, economics, and financial matters more engaging and accessible.

This position plays a key role in continuing to evolve the Bank’s content and engagement strategy.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Monitor, manage, and curatecontent and engagement for the Bank’s social media channels (notably Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
  • Manage the social media publishing schedule via the department’s editorial calendar, leveraging native platforms and social media management tools
  • Develop relationships with subject matter experts from around the Boston Fed in order to proactively identify and share the organization’s compelling stories via social channels
  • Draft relevant posts for social channels in collaboration with communications colleagues and subject matter experts,usingan appropriate tone and style for an online, mobile audience
  • Work closely with communications colleagues to ensure all social campaigns a) are on message; b) incorporate engaging, creative, and easily understood visuals;

and c)are analyzed, reviewed, and reported on in an effort to maximize results and reach

  • Keep the public affairs team and leadership group abreast of social media trends and best practices
  • Advise and provide tactical social media guidance to Bank staff and leadership

Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's degree, ideally with a major in communications / marketing, journalism, public relations, or political science.

Seeking an individual with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Experience developing and implementing a social media strategy taking into consideration brand awareness, impressions, audience and persona research, engagement, etc.
  • Experience analyzing key metrics to inform strategy
  • Excellent organizational, communication (both oral and written) and interpersonalskills

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President and General Auditor as well as the district’s audit team, which is comprised of one vice president, three managers, and fourteen auditors (two of which reside in Houston).

This role is also expected to provide support to the Corporate Secretary’s Office as needed for the Audit Committee and to the Conference of General Auditors through 2024.

The Executive Assistant will proactively anticipate the executive’s needs and utilize decision making skills to meet changing business needs.

You Will :

Serve as the lead administrative contact for the Senior Officer’s office.

Provide day-to-day administrative operations such as managing meetings, calendars, travel, events, and conferences for Bank and System activities.

Independently handle confidential information and use judgment in the dissemination of information.

Draft communications, prepare reports, create presentations, and provide editing / proofreading support.

Conduct department procurement needs such as tracking invoices and purchase orders, performing basic contract administration, and verifying and reconciling department purchase card transactions.

You Have :

Associates degree required; 6 years of experience providing similar administrative support.

Ability to work independently while using strong judgment and experience to accomplish goals.

Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and make decisions where precedents may not be established.

Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with high degree of attention to detail while experiencing frequent interruptions and adapting to changes.

Initiative to expand skills, professional network, and assume new responsibilities.
