Our company is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) that is excited begin their journey to becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant!

A Personal Care Attendant (PCA) is responsible for providing personal care assistance to resident who need help with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

The PCA must demonstrate a caring and compassionate demeanor while providing services in a safe and effective manner.

Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Key Responsibilities :

  • Helping residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers and daily exercises
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Monitoring and documenting vital signs and health status of the resident
  • Maintaining confidential records and reports

Personal Care Attendant (PCA) Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • No prior work history as a PCA

Fairway Oaks Center is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant!

Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.

QUALIFICATIONS for the position of Physical Therapist Assistant :

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Valid PTA license in state of practice

Current CPR and first aid certification

3+ years' clinical experience

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Physical Therapist Assistant include, but are not limited to :

Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists

Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes

Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical science

Propose treatment goals and objectives

Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist

Perform certain aspects of patient evaluation and interventions

Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs
