POSITION SUMMARY : The primary function of the Project Manager is to drive the planning, procurement, fabrication, fulfillment, shipping, and installation of products at LIT Workshop.

The Project Manager will work on multiple projects of various size, complexity, and duration at the same time. This team member should have an adaptable approach dependent on the assigned work, a robust technical background, and a desire to join a collaborative organization driven by continuous improvement and innovation.

These duties incorporate the adherence to standard professional forms and procedures. At times, the specific daily tasks may vary by project type, project requirements, and required experience as determined by leadership.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proficient at reading and understanding CAD drawings, blueprints, and equivalent fabrication drawings.
  • 3+ years fabrication, manufacturing, or equivalent production experience desired.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to adapt quickly and seamlessly to accommodate to a variety of situations and needs.
  • Must be available outside of normal business hours to ensure project delivery and tracking.
  • Must be a self-starter and have a proven record of taking initiative.
  • Experience in customer service and relationship development, with a demonstrable history of exceeding expectations.

Optimize / reduce setups, welding sequences and processes to maximize productivity, safety and quality (eliminating scrap)

Responsible for prototypes, new jobs, highly cosmetic / difficult jobs, etc

Review estimates, projects and jobs with sales, estimating and engineering to determine capability, run times, fixturing, etc

Design and / or build welding fixtures, checking fixtures and templates

Able to identify and install the proper wire rod per job / customer requirements

Able to properly setup the machine per job / customer requirements

Properly maintain, record and handle material, quality records, components, inventory, time, tooling, supplies, etc

Train / Review new and existing employees

We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for safely providing maintenance support to our fast-pace Kansas City Container plant which is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state-of-the-art for the corrugated industry.

The ideal candidate will :

Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical / electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A / C, D / C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics.

Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Will be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas.

Requirements :

At least one year of successful mechanical and electrical / electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility.

On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected.

Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus. Strong knowledgeable of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical and electronics technologies.

Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills.

Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.

Able to work 24 / 7 schedule - 12 hour shifts - no forced overtime- Plenty of voluntary overtime available.

Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.

Provide own tools initially (tools worn out on the job will be replaced).
