Job Summary
Knowledge, experience and understanding of risk management processes and how to apply these throughout the entire organization to protect people, property, and profits.
Oversee daily operations and administration of tenant insurance program and improve profitability in the program through loss mitigation measures.
Manage and improve technology, systems, and processes for gathering information for incident reports, claims management programs, claims mitigation, and all associated vendors.
Use analytical skills to further internal strategy by harnessing data to make decisions, reduce loss and improve insurance program profitability.
Primary Responsibilities
Risk Control & Analysis
Use data and analytics to identify trends in losses and make recommendations based on your findings.
Use data and analytics to drive and influence policy that will improve profitability of tenant insurance program.
Build relationships across the organization to influence change to policy and processes that will reduce tenant insurance claims.
Work with others on loss control and compliance activities including occasional travel.
Work with all levels of the organization to protect the assets of the company, reducing risks and losses.
Risk Identification & Education
Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
Present information and training material to all levels of the organization
Job Specifications
Familiar with best practices is risk management and risk management technology.
Oversee risk management analyst who assists with some of these responsibilities and is responsible for most of the reporting.
Contribute to process improvement across the risk organization.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with experience in some of the duties listed above. Additional credentials such as an MBA degree, or other Risk Management credentials are a plus as well as Finance and Accounting related certifications.
3-5 years of relevant risk or related experience.

Qualifications
3+ years of multi-unit operations experience in one or more of the following : retail, restaurant, hotel, leasing, rental, or other customer service operation with responsibility for operating 10+ stores.

The Marketing Coordinator assists the marketing manager with marketing objectives and projects with various departments within the organization.
They are responsible forcoordinating projects, fostering strong, lasting relationships with teams in the organization, and taking on adhoc marketing projects on an as-need basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in managing the brand swag store by driving traffic to the store, reporting on store performance and frequently checking on inventoryneeds
Project manage multiple projects at a time that include various points of contact from start to finish
Respond to field-level employee’s questions and concerns via our ticketing software
Reporting on service level agreements for the marketing team
Ensure brand consistency and identify potential areas for brand building
Coordinate photoshoots for 100+ facilities across the nation
Support marketing team with ad hoc projects on an as-need basis
Collaborate closely with other departments in a positive and meaningful way on various projects
Assist with administrative tasks for the marketing team such as coordinating events / lunches, reporting on corporate card expenses, reporting on design ticket surveys, and others alike.

At Extra Space the Risk Management Team is responsible for minimizing financial exposure to the business through identifying and mitigating risk.
The team also is responsible for protecting employees, our company’s assets, and our customer’s goods, through loss control and safety initiatives.
The Risk Analyst will support the team regarding all aspects of the corporate and captive insurance program including underwriting data management, claims, billing, and allocations.
The position will allow the candidate to work with teams across the organization in support of strategic initiatives to improve profitability and mitigate losses.

Support the risk team with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and allocations
Manage the insurance licensing renewal process
Oversee all billing and invoicing for insurance related activities

Support claims team in administering and managing workers compensation and general liability claims to mitigate losses
