Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for a Challenger 350 aircraft based in Dallas, TX.
KDAL). The aircraft will be on EJM's P135 certificate flying approximately 550 hrs / year with 3 pilots. This is not a commutable position and will require residing within driving distance to the Dallas Love Field Airport.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds final responsibility to ensure aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight :
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks for each assignment, as required.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including the maintenance status of the aircraft, to ensure the aircraft is mission capable.
Records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and accomplished in accordance with SOPs.
- Completes passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation. Delivers the highest level of customer service and meet any special needs of passengers (e.
g., physically challenged).
Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel clearly and in a timely manner during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience :
Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
Regularly investigates and resolves service deviations.
Collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide consistent service experience to owners and passengers.

Pilot in Command CL350
Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for a CL350 aircraft based at Chicago Midway Airport, MDW.
This is a two-aircraft account with five pilots supported by a two full-time maintenance technicians flying part 91 to domestic destinations.
Each aircraft averages 300 hours per year of annual flying. Crew spend an average of 5- 7 nights away from home per month.
Trips are typically two days in duration with some one-day trips.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Receive initial briefing from the Flight Center to include : determine assigned crewmembers meet all regulatory and rest requirements;
- Show time / departure; Fixed based operators; Flight distance / estimated flight time / estimated fuel burn; Passenger information;
Catering, transportation and any special requests; Noise abatement and curfew procedures; Security issues; Airport limitations.
The PIC will brief and assign duties to the Second-in-Command, but always retains responsibility for task completion. He or she will include information regarding weather, the flight plan route, flight delays, aircraft performance, obstacle clearance, security issues, and passenger considerations as well as any other pertinent information in the briefing.
The PIC will prepare or supervise preparation of flight plan considering such factors as weather, terrain, aircraft weight, aircraft performance, range, physiological considerations, airport facilities, and navigational resources.
Review the aircraft maintenance records to ensure : Required airworthiness and equipment inspections are current; The deferral list is in compliance with the MEL requirements;
The aircraft is capable of completing the proposed flight. Advise maintenance of any aircraft or systems irregularities in accordance with company maintenance reporting procedures.
- Normally supervise, but may conduct the preflight inspection of the aircraft for structural,mechanical, and electrical soundness in addition to the following : Airworthiness Certificate;
- Aircraft Registration; Radio Station Permit; Weight and Balance; Aircraft Flight Manual; MEL; Checklists; General Operations Manual;
- Company forms; TOLD cards; Passenger Briefing Cards; Flashlights and batteries; Life vests, rafts, and all other safety equipment;
Medical First Aid Equipment; Fire Extinguishers; Clipboard; Will ensure that all ground servicing is monitored by a crew member.
No one other than company personnel shall have access to the aircraft except in the presence of a member of the crew.
- Evaluate and coordinate the handling of any special needs of the passengers. Assign a crewmember or passenger prior to takeoff to assist a handicapped person during emergency evacuation of the aircraft;
- Inspect all passenger identification prior to boarding. Ensure all other security procedures included in this section have been complied with;
- Ensure passenger briefing meets 14 CFR 135.117 for a 135 flight and 14 CFR 91.519 for a 91 flight. Obtain and thoroughly review company flight manifests (briefing sheets) prior to flight;
Confirm with the Flight Center that each manifest is current. Is responsible for completing and forwarding an Anomaly Report when anything unusual occurs.
This includes abnormalities with the aircraft, ground transportation, catering, or passengers.
Maintain and provide the Flight Operations Training Department with a copy of his / her First Class Medical Certificate by the twentieth (20th) of the month.
Responsible for assuring that the company’s goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.

Pilot in Command G450
Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Pilot in Command candidates for an account with a G450 and G280 aircraft based in Las Vegas, NV.
KLAS) flying a total of 300hrs / yr for both aircraft (approx. 150hrs / yr each). All 4 pilots will be dual-qualified to fly both aircraft.
The two aircraft will fly both P91 for the Owner(s), and retail P135 charter that will remain highly structured. Pilots must reside or be willing to relocate to the Las Vegas area.

Flight Attendant - G600 Van Nuys, CA
Purpose of Position
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Flight Attendant candidates for a G600 aircraft based in Van Nuys, CA (KVNY).
Responsibility for the welfare of passengers in all aspects of cabin safety and service. Trained and proficient in the appropriate portions of Abnormal and Emergency procedures and in all areas of cabin systems and operations.
This is a multi-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technicianand Flight Attendants flying part 135.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinates preflight activities to ensure the proper maintenance status of the emergency equipment, cleanliness of the cabin, stocking of the aircraft and proper catering orders onboard.
- Responsible to the assigned Pilot in Command of the scheduled trip for all duties. Comply with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs).
Ensure passenger compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91 / 135 qualified crewmember.
Conducts emergency / service brief prior to each leg and ensures that the cabin is secure prior to taxi.
- Comply with General Operations Manual, company policies and procedures including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to the owners / charter passengers. Greet all passengers and confirms that the passenger manifest is correct.
