Summary
Responsible for supporting all manufacturing functions including Assembly, Machine Operation, Packaging, and Basic Inspection.
You will also assist with prepping and machining billets for use in CNC production. You will operate a hand lathe to cut billets to appropriate size according to work instructions.
Some positions are temp to hire, some are temporary for approximately 6 months.)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Reviews work order blueprints to ensure material used matches specifications.
- Sets up and operates manual hand lathe for machining billet to required size; measures to ensure machined billet will fit in collet.
- Assist with assembly and inspection of products
- Completes packaging and assists in the warehouse area as needed
- Collects and records all data as required.
- Cross train in other areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- This position requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Seeking at least 6 months of general manufacturing experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have basic knowledge of blueprints and work instructions.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively in English both written and verbal
- Must have basic math skills to read and process work instructions
- Self motivated with an ability to complete tasks without constant supervision
- Should have mechanical aptitude

Monday - Friday, 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm, overtime as needed
Pay :
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, DOE

Quality Control Inspector - Entry Level
Quality Control Inspector - ENTRY LEVEL
Summary :
The primary responsibilities of Quality Control are final inspection process of product prior to shipment, in process and 1st piece inspection (1st part in a batch), and 1st article inspection.
Other functions of QC include but are not limited to; proper documentation, UL labeling, unique product bagging and labeling, inspection, database management, regular yield / DPPM report and graph generation, and general manufacturing quality counsel.
QC is expected to consult and improve on existing processes in an effort to improve and reduce operator and QC error.
Responsibilities Include :
- Identifying customer requirements related to test and providing written documentation to that effect.
- Performing failure analysis of any product returned by customer for rework or replacement via NCR or CAPA procedures
- Ensuring that all products comply with the current workmanship standards or customer specified standards.
- Completing all required documentation / paperwork required for the Product Validation function.
- Recording pass / fail results of every inspection.
- Understanding electronic component / connector familiarity and an understanding of basic electronic theory.
- Trained to trouble shoot basic analog circuits and calculate load in series and parallel format.
- Follow written test procedures and use various test fixtures.
- Computer literacy with Word, Excel, test fixture software, and print labeling.
- Maintaining proficiency of reading prints / schematics and assembly diagrams, being familiar with AWG and electrical components, able to understand pull testing, and able to cross-reference and investigate UL / CSA / CE standards
- Maintaining UL labeling, unique product bagging and labeling, inspection and database management.
Knowledge, & Skills :
- Seeking BASIC understanding of high attention to detail / quality related duties.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and twist for entire shift
