A bartender is responsible for providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons while satisfying their beverage needs.

An understanding of mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits is an integral part of the job.

Taking beverage orders from customers and wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail is vitally important to the success of the restaurant.

Job Duties

  • Balancing cash receipts
  • Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
  • Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
  • Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
  • Placing orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies
  • Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
  • Planning bar menus
  • Creating unique drinks
  • Preparing and serving appetizers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar
  • Complying with all food and beverage regulations
  • Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behaviour
  • Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
  • Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner.
  • Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations.
  • Collecting money for drinks served and providing change as needed

Esotico has been awarded with best cocktail bar in Miami (+other awards) for 2 years in a row. Created by one of the world's greatest tropical mixologist Daniele Dalla Pola.

We seek a strong, seasoned and motivated Executive Chef with extensive knowledge of culinary skills in Asian, Pan Asian and Caribbean cuisine to take the helm of Esotico kitchen.

The Chef who will take this position must be hands on leader of the BOH team. Must have strong leadership skills and must have the ability to be self-motivated and organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Make periodic and regular inspections of units to observe quality of food preparation and service; food appearance; and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment and employee appearance.
  • Coordinate all training activities for kitchen, bakery, butcher shop and other production and service employees, including the identification and analysis of training needs and the design and implementation of programs to address these deficiencies.
  • Develop recipes and portion specifications in accordance with consumer tastes, nutritional needs, product specifications, ease of preparation and established procedures and budgetary constraints;

participate in other menu planning activities to include the determination of purchasing specifications, product and recipe testing and menu development.

  • Assist operation managers as requested in areas such as plate presentation, special function menu planning and the design of new service areas.
  • Prepare operational reports and analyses setting forth progress and adverse trends and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Supervisory Responsibility

Work Environment

The work environment can be loud and busy. There are many kitchen hazards such as hot surfaces and liquids, sharp knives, and slippery floors.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop. The position requires working taste buds, ability to smell, feel with fingers and visually inspect, including close and distance vision.

The position requires ability to use arms, hands and manipulate fingers to reach, stir, measure, pour, cut, chop, dice, decorate, etc.

  • SOP & top-line focused, proven record of fine cuisine excelling in a standalone restaurant.
  • Tech savvy required.
  • Passion for training and develop. Previous Sales volume experience must be at a minimum of $4M+Yr.
  • Confident team leader ready to make the different in this project.
  • Prior experience as an executive chef.

Our Catering Company is seeking a passionate, skilled chef for a seasonal position September through December. The chef will be responsible for creating new dishes and recipes at the highest quality standards.

The chef will be collaborating with a team of kitchen thus should be an excellent leader with great organizational skills and impeccable time management.

Top candidates will also be creative individuals that will present dishes in a luxurious manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
