What You'll Do

As a Senior Technical Animator for our new game project, you will play a crucial role in solving creature and character-related challenges and optimizing the character implementation pipeline. This is Epic's first largest scale project fully rigged and animated in Unreal Engine. You will help push the tools forward, develop new workflows, and shape future engine development.

Joining this team means you’re motivated to seek solutions to problems and work with other artists to make positive changes to improve character creation in Unreal Engine. The heart of this role is rigging, animation and pipeline tools for Epic’s latest game. 

In this role, you will

• Rig characters, creatures, and other assets in Control Rig
• Set up assets in Unreal Engine 5; including physics, blueprints
• Work closely with animators to ensure a smooth delivery of high quality assets
• Assist with pipeline tools and work with engine and project leads to continuously improve those engine tools

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience rigging characters in Maya or Control Rig
• A portfolio demonstrating rigging for a range of characters, bipeds, and creatures

What You'll Do

Epic Games seeks People Analytics Lead at its Boston, Massachusetts office to assist Human Resources and its recruiting teams. Responsible for providing data analytics support across all Human Resources and for serving as a consultant to business partners and leaders to enable data driven decision-making around Epic’s workforce.

In this role, you will 

• Develop appropriate metrics for measuring success and build meaningful visualizations to better determine human resource trends, needs and improvements. 
• Use data analysis and statistical tools to model, aggregate, and find insight in large data sets. 
• Collaborate with Human Resources teams to collect and consolidate meaningful data, perform data analysis, identify patterns, summarize, and communicate findings through the use of visualizations tools and presentations. 
• Gather requirements from various stakeholders concerning HR and recruiting data, including opportunities to automate and produce meaningful insight from data. 
• Define and implement data reporting tools, reports, and metrics across Human Resources programs.

What we’re looking for

Candidates must also possess at least three (3) years of experience with all of the following: 

• Development and administration of Human Resources dashboards utilizing visual analytics tools like Tableau/PowerBI.
•  Reporting from HCM & ATS tools such as Workday and Greenhouse/Icims. 
• Using advanced data analysis tools such as SQL and Python. 
• Utilizing statistical models such as Multivariate Logistical & Linear Regressions, Chi Sq and T-Tests. 
• Deriving insights & analyses on Hiring, Engagement, Performance and Turnover based on the needs of stakeholders including HR Partners, Recruiting Leadership, HR Leadership & Executives.

What You'll Do

As a key member of Epic’s Procurement Operations and Tools team, you will be responsible for leading the global implementation of a Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform at Epic. You will build a strong understanding of business requirements and priorities, then work cross-functionally to scope and execute the implementation to achieve business objectives. Upon completion of the implementation, you will serve as the global product owner for the S2P platform. The ideal candidate will be adept at earning trust with organizational leaders and business partners, motivated by solving difficult and ambiguous problems, passionate about technology and process improvement, and acutely focused on customer experience.

In this role, you will

• Lead the full, end-to-end global implementation of a S2P platform, including but not limited to purchasing, invoicing, e-sourcing, and contract lifecycle management.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all global Epic business units, collaborating to define and deliver against business requirements.
• Own and manage Epic’s S2P platform, leveraging it to improve S2P process efficiency, controllership, and customer/user experience.  
• Work with leadership to define efficient ways to support the ever-growing needs of Epic’s Procurement team, including innovative approaches to scale Procurement’s support as Epic grows.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years' experience in product management, program management, or procurement.
• Experience implementing and managing procurement-focused tools and processes on a global scale.  Prior Coupa experience is a plus (but not required).
• Strong procurement and S2P background with demonstrated experience in these domains.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Execute to a high craft quality bar, work autonomously and tackle medium to complex features; contribute to the success of the Product team by designing and implementing complex UI features.

What we're looking for

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Lead Gameplay Engine Programmer to lead a team who will build the systems that Unreal Engine customers build their games on. You and your team will also be improving and supporting existing gameplay systems such as Blueprint, Gameplay Ability System, Enhanced Input, Game Features and Modular Gameplay plugins. You should have experience leading a team of programmers and setting them up for success.

You should have a broad knowledge of modern game engine technology, as well as a good sense of trade-offs between performance, memory usage, and ease-of-implementation. Additionally, you should have experience working closely with developers in all disciplines, not just other programmers. Your team’s goal is to empower Unreal Engine users, including Fortnite, to make world-class experiences using the systems that you create, through close iteration with both our internal game teams and external engine customers.

In this role, you will

• Lead, architect and guide gameplay system development to help Unreal Engine grow to fit the needs of current and future games and applications.
• Scope and prioritize work in close collaboration with the team, making trade-offs when they’re appropriate.
• Maintain long term feature roadmaps that align with Unreal Engine goals.
• Work closely with other teams, leads and production across different projects to align feature work to help everyone succeed.

• Excellent C++ skills, with a familiarity of scripting systems like Blueprint, Lua, Python, etc.
• Experience in a broad range of programming areas on shipping games or real-time visualization systems, with special attention given to low-level code and deep optimization.
• Well-versed in software engineering principles, especially API design.
• Experience in a cross-disciplinary development environment, with excellent cross-discipline communication skills. You should be able to communicate and explain trade-offs to non-programmers.
• Familiarity with an existing game engine with an understanding of game engine and editor concepts.
• Familiarity with development tools and profiling on modern systems, including PC, console, and mobile.
• Experience developing in a large codebase at a fast pace, making trade-offs between usability, performance, and power.

The person in this role will incorporate a passion for games with their technical and artistic abilities to create engaging and exciting media. • Work closely with a team to compose still images in Unreal Engine 5 that show off key features, awesome characters, impressive visuals, or specific moments within a game through simple narrative
• Light still scenes at a cinematic level to convey a mood and push a narrative 
• Contribute in other aspects of the image creation such as posing characters, set dressing a scene, creating or modifying materials and FX systems, and/or overall image composition to convey simple narratives and show off cosmetics 
• Come up with concepts for marketing images that will show off upcoming skins, limited time modes, or additional game features coming to the game

What You'll Do

Epic Games is searching for experienced Animators to join our team working on projects under the Fortnite IP. You'll create original animation with a strong emphasis on style and appeal that's grounded in realistic world physics. A great understanding is needed of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to game animation and the ability to implement animations in the Unreal 5 game engine using our animation blueprint system. A strong sense of gameplay feel and timing in relation to game design principles in Fortnite is a must.

In this role, you will 

• Create character specific animations such as gameplay animations for the main player and AI as well as dances and emotes or cosmetic items in Maya using our ART/Armature tools set, as well as in Unreal Engine using our Control Rig toolset.
• Take animation from initial concept through implementation in Unreal Engine 5 using our animation blueprint system.
• Drive collaboration across disciplines, including Production, Design, Technical Animation, Technical Design, and implementation to help drive the style and feel of Fortnite's animation.
• Collaborate with leads in a dailies style critique environment, and find optimal solutions and address basic issues as they arise.
• Refine animations and gameplay feel as needed to get the best quality animation within the timeline.

• A strong animation reel showing expertise in key-framed character and creature animation.
• Relevant experience in Maya and gameplay systems.

In this role, you will

• Manage and launch the IT Internal risk & audit function to ensure adherence with federal and state regulations and internal policies.
• Perform audits related to compliance, facilitate ITGC ownership and remediation, test application controls, and other similar functions..
• Identify key risks and controls in line with IT governance, and privacy frameworks and methodologies.  An example of such frameworks would be: CCPA, SOX, COPPA, COSO, COBIT, GDPR, ISO, NIST, and ITIL.
• Analyze issues identified during audits and assist in developing appropriate corrective action plans.  Conduct and report on information technology (IT) and operational audits in support of the Internal Audit plan and compliance requirements.
• Work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders across the business, to identify IT risks and drive process improvements

What we're looking for

• Specific degree not required, however any study in federal data compliance and/or computer science is a plus.  CISA, CISM, CISSP and/or Big 4/professional services/consulting experience preferred.
• At least 8 years of IT audit, compliance, and risk experience for a company with a large consumer base and similar industry preferred.
• At least 2+ years experience of supervisory or management.
• In depth knowledge of local and federal compliance guidelines and best practices.
• Hands on experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance in an enterprise environment, and/or Third Party Risk Management.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.  Ability to work independently, work under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and pay close attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Epic is seeking Senior QA Analysts to act as stakeholders in QA of development strike-teams on a shared project. You will be working directly with our Designers, Engineers, and Producers on this project as an area owner, overseeing the evaluation and planning of testing, allocating your time between deep investigations and reporting on test efforts for your area to drive the quality bar of your embedded space. We are a creative group within a large organization that prizes intelligence, creativity, and nimble problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with game QA management experience and has a passion for innovating and improving upon the Project and Product Quality Assurance Process.

In this role, you will

• Work with product owners, developers and QA management to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage for upcoming features/releases
• Coordinate test efforts between geographically distributed teams, vendors and agencies to deliver the highest quality product
• Build test strategies and test plans to cover multiple features in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Understand and factor planning around functional, qualitative, and performance testing efforts
• Using a mix of manual and technical testing skills to execute a variety of testing techniques across your product to analyze the quality of said product
• Analyze and troubleshoot reported defects and internal issues
