Enliven Planters is an innovative, subscription gardening service that delivers seasonal arrangements to clients’ homes and businesses four times per year.
We are dedicated to making the homes and neighborhoods in Greater Philadelphia more beautiful and enjoyable places to live.
We are currently seeking people to join our gardening team to help us transform Philadelphia’s streets into lush and colorful green spaces.
If you would prefer to work outside with your hands rather than at desk in an office, send us your cover letter and resume! In this fast-paced, labor-intensive job, you will be navigating to homes and businesses throughout Greater Philadelphia to plant and maintain clients’ planters and window boxes.
Each morning, you will load a box truck with the plants and materials needed to complete the jobs on your route, and then you will be on the go and working independently to hit your delivery quota for the day.
You will be a sous chef responsible for executing our lead designer’s vision. No prior design or horticulture experience is necessary - we have found that it is much easier to train for design than it is to train for a willingness to work hard outdoors.
Anyone with prior experience in landscaping, manual labor, or hospitality is invited to apply. Candidates should possess the following core competencies : Personable and polite when interacting with clients Able to navigate, drive, and park in a van or box truck (valid driver's license is required) Must enjoy working outside in all weather conditions Must be able to lift 65 pounds repeatedly Enliven is a rapidly growing company that values employee retention and homegrown talent for our management positions.
The Fine Gardening position is initially part time, but full-time opportunities with benefits are available for go-getters.
