The Senior Business Data Analyst employs the use of Intelligent Automation technology across Global Flow Controls Operations business processes to improve service levels, profitability, quality and efficiency.

This position will also be tasked with developing business analytics as a competitive weapon to increase market share growth and improve service levels, profitability, ESH and quality.

Position located in Marshalltown, IA. Relocation assistance provided for successful out of state candidate.*

AS THE SENIOR BUSINESS DATA ANALYST, YOU WILL :

Contribute to Flow Controls overall operations efficiency and effectiveness

  • Engage and coordinate with all Flow Control World Areas and Global Functions
  • Members of the Intelligent Automation team will work on project-based assignments in small and large teams to deliver automated processes
  • Design, develop and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes
  • Ability to implement the full life cycle of an automation solution : identify automation opportunities, gather requirements and develop, test and deploy automation solutions using Intelligent Automation tools
  • Leverage Intelligent Automation tools, including but not limited to : Robocorp, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents and Noetix
  • Apply Lean concepts and process improvement methodologies
  • Work with process owners to understand and map out their processes
  • Validations with process owners, and an end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort
  • Work closely with production support team to deploy into production, complete required documentation including lessons learned and execute knowledge transfer

Enable optimization of business processes and information flow for Flow Controls Operations

  • Analysis & automation of current business processes and reporting requirements
  • Optimize business processes and information flow throughout all World Areas
  • Collaborate with World Area operations teams on process and reporting improvements as it relates to SOP / POR / TWC / Quality / Safety / etc
  • Collaborate within the Flow Controls Intelligent Automation Community and share knowledge to further develop the use of Intelligent Automation across Flow Controls world areas.
  • Support adoption of emerging automation technologies within Flow Controls
  • Establish a process for evaluating and prioritizing intelligent automation use cases that require development funding / resourcing

Manage business process improvement projects

  • Facilitate project teams through the Continuous Improvement Process
  • Utilize Perfect Execution tools and techniques to analyze and increase efficiency and effectiveness of business processes
  • Manage projects as assigned through implementation of the identified improvements

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Technology related field
  • Effective communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated skill in developing effective teams and influencing others
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Applied knowledge of Lean and Project Management methodologies

Job Description

This position performs operations necessary to assemble, fit, weld, and test complete assemblies to comply with ASME code requirements for gas and refrigerant process piping.

The finished product must meet or exceed customer specifications and production quality standards.

Requires ability to work from complete assembly drawings, use a variety of hand and power tools and a broad knowledge of welding, torch cutting, cutting, and fitting pipe.

Experience of up to five years is necessary to become familiar with products, methods, processes, etc. and to become proficient.

Welding will be subject to CWI inspection and hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.

Must have experience welding with the following processes :

FCAW (flux-core)
