Occupational Therapist
EB Pediatric Resources has been providing therapy to special needs children in Chicago for over 20 years. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to be part of the EBPR team! The OT will provide clinical services to a pediatric population both clinic, school, and home settings and collaborate with our multidisciplinary staff to ensure appropriate team disciplines to carry out therapy programs for clients.
Job Duties :
- Provide occupational therapy services to EBPR clients
- Conduct evaluations of new and ongoing clients, as needed
- Submit clinical reports and notes in a timely manner
- Conduct services across home-based, school-based, and clinic-based settings, as needed
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and team members, respond to questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Conduct 6 month and annual progress meetings, in addition to other parent meetings, as needed
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain target billable hours for full time role
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
and participating in professional societies
Attend staff trainings and agency meetings, as needed
Candidate Requirements :
- Current Illinois licensure
- Maintain standing with AOTA / IOTA and current certification with DHS / EI
