Description

The Logistics Manager responsible for all functions pertaining to direct logistics ensuring customer satisfaction, customer retention, network optimization and full implementation of related tools and processes.

They plan, implement and control the efficient flow and storage of goods, services, and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet customer's requirements.

Accountabilities

This role will work closely with the Dyson Digital & Direct Team, Dyson Outbound Logistics, Vendor Partners, and Shipping Services Suppliers to support smooth and efficient operations.

This includes supervising Dyson’s Shipping Services Suppliers and working with both internal and external customers on problem resolution as it pertains to e-commerce logistics fulfilment and transportation.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for continually improving service while looking for ways to reduce costs through process improvement, network optimization and standardization across Dyson’s US logistics.

In addition, this role will help build the roadmap for innovation in delivery experience and establish key partnerships to ensure Dyson remains an industry leader.

Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for driving the strategy and managing the e-commerce supply chain plan and the flow of work through the teams involved in the Dyson online channel
  • Develop customer and business strategies that align with both supply chain and sales objectives which result in customer satisfaction, increased sales revenue and market share growth
  • Implement e-business initiatives within region and ensure a high level of end-user engagement. Actively collaborate and coordinate with global e-business team to ensure alignment
  • Develop Industry benchmark on Direct Delivery (Speed, Convenience, Customization and Experience)
  • Work with Dyson IT / Systems Teams to achieve delivery experience
  • Analyze, design and implement Dyson’s direct business logistics network
  • Extend the delivery experience to other direct channels offline and online including Marketplace, call center / chat, DSC’s and our stores
  • Provide logistics operational support for special projects executed with Dyson’s 3rd party logistics providers
  • Work cross-functionally with Dyson internal teams to determine the scope, timing and requirements of a project
  • Develop and maintain periodic reports and KPIs
  • Play a critical role in P&L reviews and strategic planning / forecasting
  • Properly control and manage multiple project status and communicate with executive team members as appropriate to perform project status update and to flag project concerns and risks
  • Huge emphasis on increasing picking efficiency to increase operating margin for all e-commerce orders
  • Participate in global teams / networks as it relates to direct logistics and provide input

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least five (5) years' experience in logistics or related field. 7 years preferred
  • Must have proven experience setting up an Omni-channel network
  • Must have proven experience in Reverse Logistics and Network Design
  • Strong computer skills, including MS excel and SAP

Digital Analyst (Digital Marketing/E-Commerce), Singapore

About the Role

You will play a critical role in enabling growth in Singapore by building insights which will help the team make informed decisions and measure campaign success from awareness to conversion.

The candidate will also be expected to have a close working relationship with (1) the eCommerce team, supporting with forecasting and insights to drive Dyson’s Direct business, and (2) the regional Center of Excellence (CoE) teams.

Key accountabilities :

We are looking for a multi-faceted Analyst who will be able to identify opportunities, gaps and areas for efficiencies in the business, and provide valuable insights that will ultimately help the Singapore team reach its targets.

Campaign analysis & optimization Analyze the impact of campaigns on the business, from awareness, down to conversion. The scope will include :

  • Providing prompt campaign insights that will allow the team to optimize campaigns on-the-go, as well as drive the development of future campaigns.
  • Reporting on the commercial success of campaigns by measuring Return on Investment, taking into account all marketing activities (offline, online, retail) and sales.

Forecasting and eCommerce Performance tracking work closely with the media lead and eCommerce team to drive the analysis and reporting for both daily and key eCommerce activities.

Be familiar with paid media forecasting of traffic, revenue and conversion data, and be able to work with our media buying agency to identify performance issues and provide solutions to improve conversions.

Measurement along with tools already available (Google Analytics, Similarweb, Adthena), work with the media agency and Group / CoE Performance Marketing teams to ensure that appropriate mechanisms are in place to measure the effectiveness of all Dyson online marketing activities including, but not limited to : measures for site traffic, site performance & conversion, display campaigns, social campaigns, PPC activity, and affiliate performance.

Trend Reports be able to spot trends, understand why its happening, and how it might affect the business. Able to provide these insights through various avenues and tools (e.

g. Search, social campaigns, GA).

About You

Experience and Education

4 6 years of experience in measuring the performance of digital channels (search, social, video, display), some of which must be with a strong consumer multi-national brand or local pure play sites with proven track record.

eCommerce experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Maths, Statistics, Analytics or a related field.
  • Expertise in web analytics, social analytics, and campaign performance reporting is a must.
  • Experience in data mining and using data visualization tools would be an advantage.
  • Experience managing a team would be a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Dyson’s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant.

The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors.

Dyson Global IT are seeking a Data Scientist who will be responsible for creating and maintaining data models and algorithms to support the project.

They will work closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that the project can leverage data effectively to meet ambitious objectives.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for extracting and transforming data from multiple sources, and leveraging it to build predictive and prescriptive models.

They will also be involved in developing and validating machine learning models, and will closely work with users from the business to ensure that the models are tailored to their needs, and can be used to gain insights, automate processes and improve decision making.

Solid experience in data science and machine learning is essential for this role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, as project requirements may evolve over time and the Data Scientist will need to be able to adapt the data models and algorithms accordingly.

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or R and knowledge in common data structures and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in SQL languages such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, data cleaning, wrangling and prescriptive analytics.
  • Experience applying machine learning methods like clustering, tree-based models, neural networks and time series models.

Experience in XGBoost and LightGBM is a plus.

  • Fluent in Git and familiar with CI / CD / CT practices to develop and deliver software optimally.
  • Knowledge of how to build enterprise data science products in cloud environments such as GCP is a bonus. Comfortable querying modern cloud databases (e.

g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and techniques.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, Tableau, Looker is an added advantage.
