The Electrician Helper position is located in South Houston, in the Greater Hobby area.
Responsibilities of the Electrician Helper include, but are not limited to :
- The Electrician Helper is responsible for assisting electricians by performing tasks of on-the-job
- training under the supervision of a Journeyman or Master Electrician installing the work, acquiring the skills and
- knowledge of the trade and become a Journeyman Electrician.
- Attend job-related education instruction a minimum of one night per week for four hours.
- Work will consist of installation, maintaining, alternations, additions and / or repairs of or, extending electrical systems, conductors and associated materials equipment within the commercial, industrial, and residential
premises within the electrical industry.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of on-the-job training is required in each year of Apprenticeship with a minimum 8,000 hours of on-the-job training to complete the program.
- Must attend a minimum of 144 hours of job related education instruction in each year of Apprenticeship training
- maintain a minimum passing grade of 70%. There is a minimum of 576 hours of job related education instruction to complete the program.
- Apprenticeship is a four year commitment. (Min. 8000 on-job-training / Min. 576 classroom hours.

- Experience machining tolerances within .0005
- Extensive knowledge of measuring tools ( ex. OD / ID micrometers, calipers, bore gages, depth gages, blade mics, etc)
- Experience machining the following materials : Carbon steels, Stainless steels including duplex / superduplex, and Exotic materials (ex. Hasteloy)
- Ability to read blueprints and produce product to meet required specifications.

This will be a Full-Time, Direct Hire position out in our Katy, TX office.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to :
- Confers with the inside and outside sales personnel to determine customer requirements on project orders
- Provides the interface and liaison between project engineering and drafting, the production manager, and the customer
- Works with project engineering and engineering management team to ensure that the project meets the technical requirements of the job specifications
- Generate bill of materials for shop fabrication of process equipment skids and work closely with shop personnel throughout the entire project
- Review fabrication drawings for accuracy and releases to shop when approved by customer
- Works with the QA / QC Manager to develop quality plans for project orders
- Specifies and orders equipment
- Responsible for setting and meeting project milestones and maintaining progress payment schedules
- Coordinates and approves documentation for project orders
- Works within a budget to maximize profitability of the job
- Attend project kick off meetings and weekly / monthly status meetings as required
Qualifications of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to :
- Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers) and fabricated pumping systems
- Must be able to work independently
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Project management experience and team work skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (preferred)
