We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a team within a Consumer Products company.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of high-quality consumer goods. You will oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle, from concept generation to production release, while ensuring world-class performance and quality.

Responsibilities :

  • Design new parts and systems from concept through production release.
  • Generate innovative concepts to enhance the product portfolio.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to solve technical challenges.
  • Develop production assembly and quality procedures and documentation.
  • Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform advanced engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Create 3D models and drawings using CAD software (preferably Creo).
  • Recommend and implement design and manufacturing improvements.
  • Develop test plans, execute tests, and document results.
  • Collaborate with vendors for prototyping, tooling, and production.
  • Test and evaluate prototypes, tooling, and first articles.
  • Prepare project and technical reports as required.

Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product development and detailed part / system design for high volume manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, such as injection molding, machining, forging, sheet metal, stamping, and high-volume assembly.
  • Proficiency in working within a structured product development process.
  • Experience implementing and improving design best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong engineering analysis skills.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams to launch consumer products.
  • CAD experience, preferably with Creo.

A global leader within the vitamin and supplements industry is seeking out a Director of Manufacturing within Supplements to join their team and be a critical part of the strategic business decisions.

The Director will be accountable for oversight of the cGMP compliant manufacturing environment of supplements and vitamins in capsule, soft gel, and powder forms throughout the manufacturing process;

comprised of blending, encapsulation, bottling, labeling, maintenance, sanitation etc. and ensuring effective use of facilities and staff.

The Director of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities :

  • Developing manufacturing policies and programs which guide the organization to maintain and improve its competitive position and profitability
  • Develop and manage the manufacturing plan and establish procedures to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations and ensure all products conform to established standards and GMP's
  • Recommends and implements strategic changes in manufacturing and operations strategy
  • Leads and coaches direct reports; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, and ownership
  • Organize departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations
  • Develop dashboards and KPI's to drive results of metrics
  • Deliver progress and production reports to executive team members
  • Ensure all employees and managers have the required safety training and are working in a safe manner; develop and implement safety programs to reduce accidents
  • Ensure standards for quality and equipment and operator performance are maintained and that production is maximized
  • Support quality initiatives by planning, communicating, and encouraging team and individual contributions toward quality improvement efforts
  • Ensure plant operations comply with federal, state, local, and / or company policies and regulations
  • Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

The ideal Director of Manufacturing must have the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree preferred in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Manager, at least 3 years as a Director
  • Strong understanding and proven record in the processes related to the manufacturing of supplements and vitamin capsules, soft gels, and powder forms in manufacturing environment required
  • Able to build dashboards and KPIs driving metrics and results
  • Deep experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical is required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and motivating subordinates
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • ERP software experience

Senior Logistics Manager Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for logistics, inventory management, warehousing, materials planning, and other supply chain functions necessary for production success
  • Establish and implement operational and logistics strategic plans to align with business objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal team members to share and recommend best practices, methodology, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor the quality, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of materials and assets; by ensuring that operations and warehousing functions are carried-out timely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Coordinate supply and material needs with department leaders according to defined schedules
  • Ensure team is resolving material quality issues, back orders, and damaged deliveries in a timely manner and evaluate solutions to mitigate future issues
  • Manage vendor relations and negotiations
  • Ensure on-site warehouse and 3PL is current and accurate, and identify excess material in real time

Senior Logistics Manager Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred

  • Experience within the Heavy Manufacturing, Metals, or Electrical Manufacturing industries is a plus
  • Proven Project Management skills and experience

This position is required to work closely with personnel on the Environmental Health and Safety teams to ensure safety and quality throughout the facility.

The Environmental Engineer will have the following responsibilities :
