Manufacturing Engineer
POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for planning the arrangement of equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive processes and layout utilizing lean manufacturing practices to drive change.
HIRING SALARY RANGE : $90,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Identifies appropriate plating and finishing technologies creating a roadmap and capital plan for the Indianapolis facility
- Plans the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Directs the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance
- Documents and maintains process procedures, work instructions and tool drawings
- Reviews performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies
- Conducts root cause analysis for rejected or faulty parts. Researches work processes and conduct failure analysis to determine cause of error or problem parts
- Analyzes SPC (statistical process control) data for identified work processes to ensure level of performance
- Assists with instructing, training, and answering area-specific questions for less experienced manufacturing engineers or other departmental personnel
- Conducts make vs. buy analysis on new or existing parts / processes
- Establishes acceptance criteria for new tools, equipment, and / or processes
- Serves as a technical resource and Manufacturing liaison to Supply Management and New Product Development for new and existing parts, products, and processes
- Performs duties and responsibilities as described in the quality system
- Documents and specifies routine and work instructions for the use of equipment and processes that affect product performance
- Ensures corrective actions are communicated to the production personnel through work instructions or procedure updates and training
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial engineering / technology, from an accredited institution preferred
- 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process environment preferred
- Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CME) preferred
- AESF (American Electroplating / Surface Finishing) or CEF (Certified Electroplater Finisher) certified preferred
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must have good vision, with or without correction

- Knowledge of drawing technical prints and CAD preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of SPC

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Creates business plans that identifies segment growth potential and analyzes risk necessary to builds a competitive advantage and increases profitability in the business
- Builds strategies that will drive emerging product growth and drives business in new markets leveraging our existing and emerging routes-to-market and strategic partnerships
- Manages all aspects of the segment marketing strategies including market research, customer needs identification, business case development, account plan development, new product launch, product vitality and marketing support

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in Marketing
- 5 7+ years of relevant success as a creative customer centric product marketer / brand manager
- Successful track record of developing and deploying robust product marketing strategies and plans that drive business goals
- Expert in B2B marketing techniques and strategies with deep knowledge and understanding of product-led growth marketing strategies
- Strong experience with demand planning and forecast analysis of a large-scale product portfolio
- Experience with door controls / closers a plus

Warehouse Coordinator
POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Dallas. This position is responsible for all aspects of inventory management for their areas of responsibility.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE : $16.00 - $21.00 (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Loads and unloads of deliveries and shipments
- Develops a close working relationship with the technicians, dispatchers, administrative support, and corporate functions
- Works closely with administrative teams and technicians to ensures that all necessary stock transfers required from the technicians are completed efficiently and accurately
- Ensures that all compliance, process reporting, and safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensures that all transactions (receipts, transfers, shipments) are performed accurately and timely
- Discusses staged materials and needed parts with dispatchers and managers
- Runs weekly reports on parts usage by tech / van and replenishes on a minimum weekly basis
- Ensures that safety procedures and processes are understood and followed
- Conducts a monthly safety walk of the warehouse
- Works closely with dispatchers to ensures that jobs are aligned with actual availability of parts
- Performs inventory counts and reconciliations
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Provides quotes and order parts for stock parts
REQUIREMENTS
- A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management
