Territory Sales Manager Medical Sales
My client is a global leader in medical device that develops innovative technologies and solutions that specifically target Ophthalmologists and Optometrists (office setting).
They are seeking to hire an Area Sales Manager responsible for promoting products / solutions growth within existing accounts and prospecting for new business.
The Area Sales Manager will manage an entire sales cycle and will close larger deals and creating sales strategies. The ideal candidate should have a background of strong, successful and documented performances.
Profile : Strong outside sales business to business reps with 2-4+ years of longevity looking to break into Medical Sales / Device..
Responsibilities :
- Meet / exceed sales quotas within assigned territory
- Develop and implement sales strategies; support business strategies and promote growth
- Establish and build client relationships with key decision makers
- Drive sales, efficiencies and promote growth within assigned territory
- Assess sales pipeline and create territory forecasts
- Keep well-informed of available products / solutions, competitors, market trends and articulate the value proposition
- Attend training on new products and technologies
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Min. 3-5+ years of Outside sales, Business to Business experience
- Seeking sales reps selling B2B, hunting, (Copier Sales, Ad Sales, Payroll Sales, Rental Car, Wine Sales)
- Ability to prospect within a territory with high call activity
- Documented Sales Success of meeting / exceeding sales goals (multiple President’s Awards YOY)
- Experience prospecting and closing deals
- Strong Communication & Presentation skills
- Excellent Analytical, Negotiation & Organizational skills
- Ability to travel within territory
Offering :
- Base Salary $50,000 $60,000
- Year 1 @ plan $190,000 $200,000
- Ramp Compensation
- Car package $10,000 + all mileage

- Support senior sales reps within a defined territory
