Electrician- Commercial Construction

Essential Duties :

• Electrician is responsible for installations and repairs of electrical systems
• The worker will report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment and materials properly
• Plans layout, apparatus, and control equipment, such as switches, installs, repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools.
• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
• Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switches gears
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices

Qualification :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required*
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an electrician
• At least 3 years minimum experience working with commercial electrical systems
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role and use other materials required for repair or installation.
