Clerical/Receptionist
He or she will be responsible for processing and responding to incoming mail, faxes, calls and emails that come from the general public, charging parties, charging party’s attorneys, and respondents.
The contract clerk will provide customer service to the public. For example, he or she will assist callers with how to use our public portal to file a charge of discrimination with the HDO.
Furthermore, the contract clerk will help potential charging parties schedule appointments with investigators / ISAs by utilizing the scheduling tool and Outlook.
He or she will be responsible for : answering any questions that callers to the office may have, educating the public about the laws enforced by the EEOC, promptly transferring calls to employees, and giving referrals to the public.
The hours of work will be between 32-40 hours per week. We are currently working 2 days in the office and the rest are telework days.
Training will be provided.
We are willing to pay the going rate for a clerk / receptionist.
