Under general supervision, performs a variety of cleaning and custodialduties including daily cleaning and supplying of bathrooms, offices and otherassigned areas in accordance with standard procedures.

4. Damp wipes and cleans furniture.
5. Cleans walls, windows and polishes metal surfaces.
6. Cleans and polishes metal surfaces and porcelain fixtures inbathrooms.
7. Replenishes restroom consumable supplies.
8. Dry and wet mops hard-surface floors.
9. Maintains and stocks janitorial closet at all times.
10. Picks up trash on a regular schedule during the shift or as needed forspecial pick ups.
11. Ensures that equipment is kept clean and reports any malfunctionsor safety hazards to the supervisor.
12. Follows established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners andpower equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
13. Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to preparecleaning solutions, according to specifications.
14. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additionsto building operating systems.
