We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Flight Test Engineer (FTE) to work alongside our project test lead, contributing to the success of our innovative flight test programs.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate schedules and logistics with internal and external organizations, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Provide support for a range of flight test programs, including chase support and general FTE activities.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project leadership, and pilots to define and design efficient and achievable test concepts that meet customer needs.
- Apply multi-discipline engineering literacy to effectively interact with design engineering teams.
- Implement sound critical thinking skills to solve complex challenges in flight test operations.
- Adapt to different flying duties and associated requirements as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a focus on aeronautical, mechanical, or electrical disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of flight test engineering principles.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse teams, including design engineers.
- Proven ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Familiarity with commercial aerospace / space vehicles and associated project delivery.
