Our client is transforming the battery metals industry, with their patented technology, used in the recycling and production of lithium-ion battery materials.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an International Logistics Manager, to join a leading company in the sustainable battery production industry.

As a key member of the team, the International Logistics Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic sourcing strategy.

The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying gaps and develop long-term contract and supply strategies for logistics operations and logistics purchasing within import and export activities. You will also be :

  • Partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, EH&S and Quality teams to map and address critical requirements.
  • Understanding the current market and outlook for Logistics and establish robust supply strategies that will ensure operation reliability and cost effectiveness.
  • Supporting the issue management process, including late delivery issues, supplier performance, price changes initiated by the supplier post-negotiation, scope / product changes, etc.
  • Experienced in rail, freight, freight forwarding, road, air, shipping.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in international logistics management, with import and export between the U.

S and Europe. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, are essential.

Knowledge of logistics operation / logistics purchasing for high hazard materials is essential.

This role is remote based in North America, the successful person should be able to work based on U.S Eastern Time. There will be around 25% travel time.

This role could also be based from Europe, if this is the case, then this person would not need to work to U.S Eastern Time.

Are you a dedicated & hardworking Production Manager?

We are working on behalf of one of the Top 5 global beverage businesses to appoint a Production Manager to guide & develop an already well established global beverage operation.

Based in California, you would lead and integrate various functions to assure high quality product manufacturing. Acting in partnership with the Plant Manager, you will need strong leadership skills and high learning agility to help focus on results, change, collaboration, problem solving, talent development and engagement.

The main attributes of this role are as follows :

  • To hold continuous improvement in high regard.
  • To lead from the front with safety culture, training and sets standards for impeccable GMP's and PPE adherence.
  • To manage plant efficiency, performance, cost & focuses on reducing downtime without compromising quality or safety
  • To lead & focus teams on continuous improvement, efficiency improvement, waste reduction and savings initiative.
  • To manage technical resources, troubleshooting & repair of equipment problems.

Requirements of the candidate as follows :

  • Proven experience of achieving leadership results within a large FMCG organisation, within the Production & Operation functions
  • Proven experience of working within retail, food or beverage outfits within a similar role
  • Proven key achievements of improvements within a Production and / or Operation Manager role within a food or beverage business
  • Proven experience within problem solving and leadership in a similar role

Specific skills requirement :

  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task in an organised, detailed manner, given limited time frames.
  • Must be flexible to work alternate shifts if production needs allow.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required
  • This position will successfully lead and develop a team of employees.
  • An understanding of operational electrical and mechanical systems is a plus. Troubleshooting and Lean Manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • An understanding of SQF, responsibility for Food Safety / Food Quality and the responsibility to take action when notified or becomes aware of any Food Safety or Food Quality issue.

Relocation packages are negotiable in line with salary & compensation.
