Position Overview

This role will be responsible for attracting potential customers in order to sell the full portfolio of leak detection technology products and solutions offered by Oldcastle IPG, in partnership with FIDO.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Attract potential customers in order to sell the full portfolio of leak detection technology products and solutions
  • Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
  • Promote value proposition linking customer objectives to Oldcastle solutions
  • Experienced seller in attracting new customers as well as building share value with existing customers
  • Ability to seek out and access new service agreement opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customers
  • Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Clearly articulate the product value and how it will meet customer’s needs
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effective train customers related to product offerings and use
  • Prioritize on best opportunities
  • Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner
  • Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual Targets
  • To effectively negotiate subscription agreement renewals when required

Experience / Knowledge Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Outstanding sales / negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Results Driven / Detail- Oriented
  • Strong Work Ethic / Self-starter
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to interact with modern computer systems, and accessorial applications such as MS Excel, MSWord, Adobe Acrobat
  • Construction and / or Manufacturing experience a plus
  • High School Diploma / GED required.

Work Requirements (Travel %, Safety Equipment, etc.)

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel 50%-75%
  • Check and maintain PPE, vehicle standards and other equipment, when required
  • Comply with all Company policies and PPE requirements at all times
  • Ensure timely delivery of job objectives to Company standards
  • Must be able lift / carry 20 lbs

Position Overview

This position is responsible for operating a heavy diesel truck (Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 pounds) equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer, consisting of a revolving drum to mix the concrete components during transport to construction sites.

You will be responsible for maintaining the materials in a liquid state through agitation or turning of the drum, until delivery at its destination.

Once on site, you will maneuver the truck appropriately to feed the concrete mixture to designated areas with a gravity fed chute on the back center of the truck.

Wage ranges from $30 to $35 an hour dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Maneuver truck into loading position for filling (hopper at plant) and unloading positions at customer job sites.

Operate mixer to produce concrete from sand, gravel, cement, and water. Adjust mixture (slump) as requested by customers at job sites.

Assemble chutes and operate levers to release concrete per customer request.

Clean truck after loading and after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck surfaces.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections.

Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or coolant and performing minor repairs.

Fill out delivery paperwork, collect payment from customers when required and keep records of daily activities.

Monitor truck and company equipment to ensure proper operation and professional appearance.

Spray truck surfaces with protective compounds to resist concrete adhesion and for specialized cleaning.

Operate equipment, such as truck mixer controls, CB radios, mobile phones, and global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other drivers.

Follow all applicable state and federal regulations.

Drive trucks to any weigh stations along routes before and after loading and in compliance with state regulations.

Assist with various plant operations, such as general carpentry, maintenance and mechanical work as needed.

Occasionally operate dump trucks and other plant equipment.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education / Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

2 years of experience as a CDL Driver.

Experience in a building materials / construction industry preferred.

Work Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.

Must have a valid CDL A or B, per DOT Regulations.

Must have a valid Medical Certificate per DOT Regulations.

Knowledge / Skill Requirements

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required. Ability to read and interpret mixer truck gauges.

Demonstrated ability to take guidance and direction from a supervisor.

The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp or manipulate small switches and controls.

Job Description Summary

The Truck Driver is responsible for operating trucks to transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and other materials and / or equipment to various job site locations.

Will also work in the yard area to stockpile and move materials as needed. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment / trucks.

Work will be performed per the supervisor’s instruction, free from direct supervision except for more complicated jobs.

This position is considered "Safety Sensitive"

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Operates truck in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and at various job sites to deliver materials.

Trucks driven include but are not limited to : dump truck and semi-tractor truck with attached trailers.

  • Performs daily pre / post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
  • Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
  • Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
  • Must keep vehicle in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required.
  • This position is considered "safety sensitive" due to the nature of driving a dump truck.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

Work Requirements

  • Must have 2-3 years Verifiable Commerical Truck Driving Experience.
  • Must be 21 years in age or older.
  • Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
  • MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Must maintain current driver’s license that meets state requirements, i.e., CDL, Class A and / or B Driver with possible hazmat and tanker endorsements.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHA.

Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position is : Face Shield, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, and Coveralls.

Compliance with all OSHA and / or MSHA regulations.

Education / Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
