Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Strategist develops, manages and implements school and college strategic marketing and communications plans that increase brand awareness and support recruitment and retention efforts.
The Marketing Strategist is both a strategist and a doer responsible for developing high-level marketing and communication plans and the strategies behind them, as well as executing and driving results.
He or she is the marketing and communications leader in their school or college and advises partners on how to develop impactful and differentiating marketing and communications across initiatives and audiences.
To accomplish this, the Marketing Strategist is an essential member of a cross-functional marketing team that drives and implements marketing and content strategies in support of institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute school / college marketing and communications plans, in alignment with university marketing and strategic initiatives.
- Apply marketing trends, research, and technologies in support of the school / college marketing and communication plans.
- Partner with marketing, creative, web and content teams to execute and implement strategic marketing and communications priorities for the school / college and university.
- Oversee and implement the strategy for the school’s / college’s social media channels, in collaboration with the university’s social media strategy.
- Understand and implement SEO best practices across school / college web pages.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the effectiveness of all marketing activities to partners, providing clear recommendations based on the data.
- Create and deliver useful, usable content on Creighton.edu through SEO and UX enhancements.
- Be a brand ambassador within the school / college to ensure the university’s brand message is conveyed, integrated and established.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field is required.
- 4 6 years of experience, with a proven ability to develop a comprehensive marketing plan and implement best-in-class brand marketing and communication activities.
- Ability to use data to drive strategy and monitor and report on results.
- Knowledge and experience with brand marketing and an understanding of the overall digital media landscape.
- Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and leaders across campus.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and ability to be a persuasive presenter and effective developer and leader of integrated marketing and communications efforts.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist, PRN

Position Summary :
Evaluates patients with known or suspected health conditions and performs therapeutic treatment procedures as indicated.
Makes patient referrals to other health care agencies / disciplines as indicated. Instructs patients and family members in individualized activity programs designed to maximize functional abilities.
Completes timely documentation. Coordinates care with other members of the health care team across the continuum of care.
Supports the advancement of function while preparing the pediatric patient for discharge from an inpatient setting. Makes appropriate discharge recommendations including services and equipment.
Preference to experience in pediatric intensive care unit and / or advanced care unit, as well as feeding, eating and swallowing experience but not required.
Employee would have to be available for weekend coverage. Employee is also responsible for supporting the mission and goals of Creighton Pediatric Therapy : This position provides patient care or has patient interaction with infant, pediatric, and adult population of patients.
Essential Functions :
- Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with occupational health needs including daily living and work skills
- Uses computer programs to assist with administrative responsibilities related to clinical practice
- Care coordination between a healthcare team related to patient care
Education & Experience :
- Graduate from an occupational therapy education program is required.
- Display proficiency in the use of common occupational therapy standardized assessments, an understanding of childhood development, and the use of treatment procedures.
- Completion of HIPAA and immunization requirements prior to patient care.
- Completion of NPI number and insurance plan credentialing prior to independent patient care.
- Completion of background check and drug screen during the pre-employment process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments / projects and respond to numerous requests.
- Ability to resolve conflict amongst staff and to work collaboratively with clinic director, clinic assistant director, clinic manager, clinic staff (including other occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists), referring physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ability to concentrate and focus on projects.
- Possesses creative systems thinking to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Self-control and stress tolerance in dealing with multiple requests and conflicting demands from multiple customers.
- Demonstrates clear verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills, especially in recording evaluations and patient progress notes.
- Functions effectively and efficiently under stress with frequent interruptions.
- Requires minimal sustained direction in carrying out departmental and professional responsibilities.
- Self-starting and self-motivating.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other therapy disciplines and co-treat / coordinate care as needed.
- Uses the clinic documentation system independently following training / orientation.
Licenses / Certifications :
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice Occupational Therapy by the Nebraska State Department of Health is required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is required.
- Feeding, eating, and swallowing experience is preferred.
- End degree or specialty practice certification preferred
