Business Analyst - Technology/TMS
We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our project team reporting directly to the Head of Technology. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing quality and user acceptance testing.
To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions within our Transportation Management System
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
- Performing requirements analysis
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
- Working closely with internal clients, developers, and managerial staff
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Performing quality and user acceptance testing
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
- Managing competing resources and priorities
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Preferred experience with Transportation Management Systems or Supply Chain Technology
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

Our Class B Courier Drivers are freight expediters who are responsible for collecting and delivering parcels, packages, of various sizes within our vast network of airlines.
In this role, you will be regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, driving for several hours at a time, and making frequent trips to the airports and surrounding cities.

What you do
- Operate heavy-load vehicles to two or more locations, load and unload freight as required, and perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
- Pick up and deliver time-sensitive packages which include samples, equipment, freight, and / or products.
- Frequent travel between client facilities and warehouses using company vans, box vans, or pickup trucks.
- Frequent trips to the airport to pick up or deliver time-sensitive packages.
- Driving for various lengths of time in and around large metropolitan areas.
- Maintain a written log of daily activity and help ensure our vehicles are service as well as basic maintenance is kept up.
What you will need
- High School completion or equivalent is required.
- 1 or more years as a class B driver or similar experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of how to use Windows operating systems and software applications.
- We need to be able to ensure you so you must have an acceptable driving record.
- We want to make sure you find your targets; you should be good with following directions using a GPS unit.
- Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks / deliveries. Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
