Assistant Manager, Social Commerce

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for :

Optimizing the User Journey :

  • Developing and implementing a 360 strategy for growing social communities at our brands
  • Launching selling channels on social media while advising and implementing best-in-class launch strategies to drive traffic and meet customer expectations of our brands
  • Mapping user journeys across full funnel digital activations (media, social, e-commerce, etc.)
  • Connecting and analyzing the dots between social activity and retailer.com site traffic and sales activity
  • Identifying new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current brand offering
  • Coordinating with eCommerce stakeholders to implement social-style projects & tests
  • Tracking and sharing out brand lift studies to emulate across digital
  • Leveraging data and measurement to glean insights and constantly optimize, socialize and advocate insights and broader strategy both internally and externally
  • Collaborating closely with the Paid Performance Media team to curate full-funnel customer persona strategies

Building Community & Consumer Relationships :

  • Defining bespoke strategic partnerships to co-develop shoppable experiences that innovate for consumers’ daily lives (social, content, UX, collaborations, etc)
  • Evolving enterprise content & social strategies to drive brand equity, customer growth and sales (business development, project planning & management, activations, optimizations)

Forging the future of Advocacy & Social Commerce :

  • Collaborating with Retail.com division to optimize and strengthen Coty brand relationships in equal measure across retail, e-commerce, and social commerce opportunities
  • Coordinating cross-functionally to lead projects that integrate Media, e-commerce and individual social channels for disruptive and bespoke digital activations
  • Evaluating and testing new features as partner offerings evolve, with an eye towards scalability
  • Acting as an internal and external advocate, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive programs forward
  • Developing shopfronts on social media and affiliation models with micro-influencers, key opinion consumers (KOCs) and Field Teams
  • Concept workstreams for evolved methods of working across fulfillment, operations, IT, data, brands and finance to include new methods of delivery and customer experience under social commerce

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential :

  • Proactivity and start-up mindset : ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
  • Knowledge in e-commerce, user journeys, social listening and Loyalty (strategy, planning, market and channel analysis)
  • Expertise across various social networks (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Live, etc)
  • Ability to digest data to develop & execute multi-channel strategies
  • Project management skills
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Success collaborating and x-functional relationship building

  • Experience with cutting-edge social commerce / community management efforts (e.g. social listening, shoppable interactive media, live selling, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of software landscape for tools that measure social listening, influencer marketing, content performance, email and SMS marketing CRMs, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of US mass and luxury beauty and / or CPG (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations), as well as other growth categories

THE ROLE

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the 3-year global strategy for the respective skincare franchises categories
  • Directly manage s detailed calendar, including new products and re-support priorities, that supports category a and franchises strategy with focus on fast-growing subcategories, hero franchises and sustainability initiatives
  • Manage upfront new launch planning in collaboration with the Project Management team :
  • Organize new product launch kick-off meeting with cross-function teams
  • Optimize global skincare portfolio, assessing financial implications of innovation, discontinuations, MOB and profit margin
  • Create key launch documents (Launch strategy decks, Forecasting decks, Retailer presentations)
  • Responsible for the creation of briefs (New Product, Design and Campaign), ensuring deliverables are aligned with launch objectives, and all briefs are executed and delivered on-time
  • Drive the conceptualization of globally relevant 360 launch plans from strategic brief through execution with Global Communications to ensure cohesive messaging across all marketing touch points and key markets
  • Drive digital first asset development in partnership with Global Creative and Digital teams providing clarity on deliverables, best practices and messaging priorities
  • Define global pricing and category guidelines to be implemented across all markets
  • Support development of decks for : Strategic planning Marketing Business presentations Ad Hoc Marketing presentations
  • Work collaboratively with Commercial teams so that market needs are understood and integrated into the overall strategic planning

QUALIFICATIONS

The Coy ideal candidate :

  • College degree, 8+ years of work experience in marketing, preferably in beauty
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field required. MBA a plus.

Senior Marketing Manager

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for :

Developing and executing brand strategy to reach Sales, Productivity and Financial targets for the luxury makeup brand cluster

  • Flawless launch of newness including 360 campaigns with above the line and below the line support
  • Lead Performance analysis and program deep dives
  • Visual Merchandising : Lead the creative briefing process and partner with Visual Merchandising on all seasonal updates and in-store executions.
  • Media : support the media planning process for the brand. Ensure alignment and influence strategic direction and recommendations.
  • Influencer Marketing : Collaborate with the IM team, to ensure a cohesive communication program for the portfolio
  • Events : Partner with the Event Planning team on account specific events
  • Support forecasting process . Work with the forecasting team for all innovation and support the phasing of saleable and promotional items.
  • Help manage brand profitability through SKUs management, cost of goods optimizations, mix and budget optimization.
  • Create retailer’s strategies & presentations and present to retailer partners to obtain their buy-in as needed.
  • Promotional support : Develop complete programs (offers and in-store) and wrap up key promotional periods with performance analysis and key learning to maximize future executions.
  • Create a strong alliance with Sales leadership to ensure key account plans are aligned with brand strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field is required. MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing or product management; color cosmetics experience is required
  • Innovative team-oriented leader with proven success creating holistic, integrated brand strategies in a constantly evolving environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and organizational skills with proven experience in a matrixed, global organization
  • Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
  • Digitally savvy, with marketing knowledge across media digital, social, influencer, print, OOH
  • Must be a self-starter, professionally mature, accountable, flexible, resourceful, organized and highly detail-oriented with accurate work output
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Experience with Sephora and US luxury department channels (Saks, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom)
