Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual seeking progressively more responsible assignments on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting on full life cycle projects
- Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
- Translating concepts and information into images
- Participating in the process of exploring and completing usable construction document detailing solutions
- Assisting with contract administration responsibilities
- Coordinating with a variety of consultants
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should exhibit strong master planning and organizational skills and be able to collaborate in a diverse project team.
Strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and communication skills are also desired. Candidates should be familiar with coordinating project deliverables and clients.
A professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture is required, along with 4+ years of experience and Revit proficiency.
Experience with other 3D software preferred. Current architectural registration or anticipation of registration and experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.
Aviation project experience and a willingness to travel is strongly preferred.

Base Salary Range : $69,000- $119,000 annually New York locations only
The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in New York only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates should exhibit strong and effective organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to present confidently.
Must have high attention to detail and strong analytical skills. The ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential.
Candidates should also exhibit strong master planning skills and be able to collaborate on a diverse project team. Individual must have strengths in conceptual design, technical excellence, and should exhibit strong marketing and client relations experience and capabilities.
Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations. Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required.
Current architectural registration required along with a professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture and 7+ years of experience.
Revit proficiency strongly desired.
Aviation experience or experience managing large teams on large-scale projects required. Transportation related experience highly desired.

Our team of Healthcare designers and planners is searching for a passionate, Project Designer to join our growing Healthcare studio based in our Los Angeles office location.

Responsibilities
The Project Designer will generate and develop exceptional design solutions and options for our Healthcare studio. This role will collaborate with other designers in the studio to maintain the firm design and brand objectives.
Candidates will be studio champions for sustainable design techniques and metrics recording. This role will entail generating multiple solutions for any given client driven program and sharing the work for critique and input from design leaders and peers.
Candidates must be creative, energetic, and flexible in their professional outlook given the fast pace and critical nature of the creative process.
Responsibilities include :
- Collaborates with studio to maintain design excellence in all projects with the direction of the Studio Design Director
- Demonstrates knowledge of resources and materials and their application
- Attends early consultant meetings and understands the coordination required between disciplines
- Becomes familiar the coordination required to realize the design intent by attending consultant meetings during SD and DD phases
- Is familiar with major relevant codes as they impact design decisions and works with the Studio Design Director to ensure code compliance in design work
- Is familiar with all the major building material technologies we use and seeks out new and innovative systems to recommend on a regular basis
- Occasionally attends client meetings and may be called upon to present work
To be eligible for the Project Designer position an individual must have the following :
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Professional registration preferred
- Participation in outside design activities, groups, etc.
Qualifications
The Project Designer will be proficient with Revit, Word, Excel and other graphics-related programs. Experience with design and implementation, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is preferred.
Must be knowledgeable with AIA 2030 DDX data entry.
