Bookkeeper

Houston, TX 77015

THE POSITION :

Seeking a bookkeeper, medical office bookkeeper, Accounts, Billing Assistant, Medical Billing Specialist or similar with QuickBooks to manage vendors and customers to work and collaborate with a small offshore team and the Controller.

The best candidate will enjoy managing the details and have knowledge of medical coding to ensure accurate bills from vendors.

Although, all coding and invoicing is completed by the offshore team, you must have the ability to verify accuracy of work completed by the offshore team.

Must be willing to handle tasks such as heavy document scanning.

The primary responsibilities are to provide critical and proper controls, General Ledger, coding and billings from healthcare clinics, occupational clinics, stand-alone ER’s, drug and alcohol testing centers, and other vendors.

Attention to detail in data entry, medical coding, and collections is required. The ideal candidate will have QuickBooks, and willingness to learn proprietary company software.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting.
• QuickBooks
• Medical Coding
• General Ledger
