Tow Truck 2-Car Driver

Copart is now hiring Class C tow truck drivers, across the nation, for their newly delivered fleet of two-car rollbacks .

These trucks, when not supporting your local Copart facility, will be deployed to various locations across the country to assist in Catastrophe Response (hurricane, hail, flooding).

What do we want you to bring to the table?

We are looking for professional, hardworking, focused, team players that are willing to bring their best. Minimum of 1 year towing and / or securement experience, Class C driver's license we will teach you everything else you need to know to be successful.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Must be willing to travel nationally on short notice $45 Daily Per Diem paid while traveling Weekly Bonus while traveling Must possess at least a valid Class C Driver's License issued by your state of residence Local pick-up and delivery of vehicles to designated Copart facility Load / unload vehicles safely and free of damage Operate company equipment in compliance with safety regulations Deploy to catastrophe events within 24 hours when directed to do so Maintain and assure good operating condition of all equipment and facilities Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily auctions

Required Skills & Experience

• Open to applicants 21+ years old
• Must possess at least a valid Class C Driver's License issued by your state of residence
• Ability to travel by plane
• Minimum of 1-year towing and / or load securement experience in the last 5 years preferred
• Must meet background screening criteria
• Military applicants are strongly encouraged to apply
• Completive commission-based pay
• Must be able to work long hours 12-14 hours per day.
• Be able to travel with 24 hours or less notice.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions weather and terrain.

Valfair Construction is in search of a welder to join the Fence Crew. The welder will work directly under the Fence Crew Superintendent and will weld fence materials according to the job site specifications along with directions from the job site supervisor.

• Experience with stick welding on iron and galvanized steel
• Fencing install on multiple job sites
• Fabricating fencing materials to meet job needs
• Properly follows company safety procedures. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman, superintendent, safety director or HR manager.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Occasional O.T. as needed
• HS diploma or GED preferred

The dispatcher is responsible for the timely and accurate dispatch of sub-haulers for vehicle pick-up and delivery while providing excellent service to customers.

• Outbound calls to pick-up locations.
• Dispatch sub-haulers for vehicle pick-up and delivery within company timelines.
• Ensure sub-haulers meet company requirements prior to dispatching.
• Outbound calls to sellers.
• Solicit business.
• Utilize cost-effective vendors to meet company budget objectives.
• Educate sub-haulers on company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and archive documents.
• Answer phone calls.
• Collect payments on member deliveries.
• Comply with Safety and enforce regulations.
• Print checks.
• Monitor incoming documents on the fax machine.
• Print reports as needed.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Two years of dispatch experience.
• One year of customer service skills experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
• Excellent Communication Skills verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Typing speed 45 words per minute.
• Basic Ten key proficiency.
• Basic Math skills.
• Computer proficiency (MS Suite experience).
• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Multi-tasking.
• Ability to work in fast-paced / diverse environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Know geographical area as well as ability to read maps.
• Work with minimal supervision.
