We are currently accepting applications for an Project Executive to travel with our Aviation Business Unit.

The Project Executive is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects by overseeing the construction operations while providing leadership and management direction.

This role develops project team members, identifies continuous improvement opportunities and assists with the creation of a business unit strategic growth plan and budget.

The Project Executive typically reports to the Director of Operations or Business Unit Leader.

What You'll Do :

  • Establish and maintain high level relationships
  • Manage multiple Project Managers and project teams
  • Plan, organize and staff key positions
  • Manage and support proposal creation and the development of client presentations
  • Maintain a strong network of industry related contacts for the purpose of expanding business opportunities
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and maintain good relationship with Client.
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site field management staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget;

investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.

  • Provide leadership and direction to preconstruction teams in analyzing value to the customer, opportunities and risk.
  • Lead business in safety awareness, education and prevention efforts.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

What We're Looking For :

  • Education : An industry related bachelor's degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience : A minimum of thirteen (13) years of construction project management experience is required, including successful leadership of a team.

Lean principles experience is desirable. OSHA 30 preferred, or the willingness to obtain upon hire.

  • Technology : Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Employee should have solid experience with project management / scheduling software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.).
  • Skills : A qualified candidate will demonstrate firm judgment and communication skills while exhibiting leadership, business acumen, mentoring and decision making abilities.

This role should also effectively resolve conflicts, network with clients and have a high degree of self-motivation.
