What You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Information Architecture, Communications, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required)
  • Over 5 years of proven UX experience
  • Extensive experience conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions
  • Proficiency in expert reviews and heuristic evaluations
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, and Glassbox
  • Expertise in crafting low-fidelity wireframes, Personas, user journeys, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
  • Strong project management skills, allowing you to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Autonomy in your work style, effectively managing your time and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with both your team and internal clients
  • Ability to transform innovative ideas into tangible designs by collaborating with designers and developers
  • Keen eye for clean, visually consistent designs that delight users
  • Agility in iterating designs to meet business and user needs while navigating technical constraints
  • Exceptional ability to give and receive design critique, fostering continuous improvement
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and proficiency in research activities
  • Impressive portfolio showcasing your user experience design and / or research project deliverables
  • Knowledge of foundational web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solid grasp of designing for Accessibility standards WCAG / 508

What Sets You Apart :

  • Previous experience working with Agile methodology
  • Proven track record of working across enterprise-level projects
  • Practical application of accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Proficiency in group facilitation, user interviews, heuristic evaluations, task analysis, usability test moderation, and card sorting
  • Expertise in designing for mobile and / or responsive web interfaces
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences at various levels within our organization
  • Strong visual design skills
  • Familiarity with video, motion graphics, or photography
  • Eagerness to learn from colleagues and engage in continuous professional growth
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality and attention to detail throughout the design process
  • Healthcare experience (a plus, but not required)

Please Note :

While remote work is currently possible, eventually, this position will require you to be in the office for a to-be-determined number of days.

Additionally, candidates must reside in one of the following states : NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, before being converted to full-time employment.
