Janitor cleaner

Responsibilities :
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas such as offices, common areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of entrances, hallways, and stairways.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Monitor and maintain janitorial supplies inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure a consistent and high standard of cleanliness.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests and accidents to prevent hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure cleanliness and tidiness throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a janitor, cleaner, or similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their safe usage and disposal.
- Ability to handle basic cleaning equipment, such as mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning agents.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
