The Common Bond Hotel Collection is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support their current properties in Bardstown and Louisville!

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Team. This position will coordinate sales activities, maintain good customer relationships, work with other departments to ensure Sales Team objectives and needs are met, and promote customer satisfaction.

  • Maintains knowledge of products and services to provide excellent customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Answer phone calls and emails requesting assistance, informational kits / collateral, and proposals.
  • Coordinate with hotel staff and group contacts to plan the execution of group details prior to arrival.
  • Enter notes, data, and other pertinent information into the database to allow the Sales Team to better serve clients and guests.
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to guest needs and requests and works to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  • Coordinates group and event contracts in the database, blocking guestrooms, setting up posting masters, charging deposits, managing room lists, and other related details.
  • Pulls contracts as requested by the Sales Team.
  • Compiles and pulls reports for Sales Team metrics.
  • Responds to Request for Proposals.
  • Organizes and maintains files.
  • Assists with special events.
  • Maintains knowledge of products and services to provide excellent customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred .
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while maintaining high professionalism and strict confidentiality.
  • High level of accuracy / attention to detail.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence; ability to build and maintain trust with leaders and team members.
  • Ability to take the initiative to overcome issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Able to carry out complex written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to travel to various Weyland Ventures and Common Bond Hotel properties.
