Reporting to the Sr. Master Data Manager, the Master Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data across multiple systems to support business functions and processes.

A Little About Your Day : You will :

  • Create new Items, Vendors, and Customer records according to defined standards.
  • Conduct full data reviews of existing Items and makes appropriate revisions to description, vendor-item number, item class, item price class, item type, unit of measure, weight, UPC, etc.
  • Conduct full data reviews of existing Vendors and Customers to make appropriate revisions of company names, addresses, tax codes, contact information, etc.
  • Perform item-combiners to ensure proper item number format and to eliminate duplicate items.
  • Oversee and maintain the companys Safety Data Sheet database.
  • Assist the Data Integrity Manager with the compilation of information and execution of the product file cross-reference for integrations.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure that items are created and maintained accurately and in compliance with the companys data standards.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure that discontinued items are maintained appropriately and accurately.
  • Analyze reports of existing data from multiple systems and departments and makes decisions on how the data should be utilized or modified to benefit the company.
  • Support special projects as required.

What Youll Need to Have for success :

  • College Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience related to computer and / or database training required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data analysis or information technology experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
