Brand Ambassador / Bartender
Clutch Distilling
We are looking for a Brand Ambassador / bartender to join the team.
We are a starting rum distillery in the heart of the heights. We offer rum based craft cocktails. In addition to making our own rum we will also make syrups and mixers in house.
Our products are also sold state wide in over 40 retailers. Our distillery is often used as an event space and we craft cocktails for each booking.
Our focus is on customer service and serving quality cocktails that emphasize the flavors or our rum. Knowledge of our product and process will also be important when communicating to our clients.
Our goal is to create and maintain a positive atmosphere and experience for guests.
Craft cocktail experience is preferred. The willingness to be open and learn about our product is important. Self-motivation as well as reliability is the standard.
Must be able to multitask, work well with a team, and take direction in a fast pace environment. TABC certification and food safety manager certification is required.
POS experience is preferred. Availability to work noon to 10pm, (Fri-Sun), is required. Limited availability to work scheduled events or tastings during the week is preferred.
Ability to work a 40 hour week can be achieved. This position can lead to a management position with commission on overall bar sales.
Brand Ambassador responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Maintain and schedule event bookings within the distillery
- Communicate with clients during the booking process
- Schedule at least 2 offsite tastings per week rotating through retailers
- Local travel required, valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Maintain a profession, business-like appearance at all times
- Demonstrate knowledge of Clutch Distilling company and products
- Commission bonus available for some aspects of this position
Tasting room responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Develop new cocktails
- Appropriately determine the cost of cocktails and services
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Prep / close and clean the bar station and entire tasting room including restrooms
- Maintain cleanliness of bar, tasting room and restrooms during shift
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
- Manage bar inventory
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
- Create promotions, content and events for marketing.
