This trusted Honolulu hospital is actively interviewing for a Hybrid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Therapist to join its Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Outpatient Behavioral Health team.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will play an integral role in supporting patient care and well-being across the continuum of care.
Reporting to the Ambulatory Mental Health Program Manager, the Outpatient LCSW will work with an outstanding Therapy team made of Masters prepared Social Workers (MSW), Clinical Psychologists (Psy.
D.) and Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT). Working with such a diverse team, the LCSW will get exposure to a large set of patient populations beyond the Outpatient / Ambulatory care patients that will be your primary focus.
The LCSW will work a Hybrid schedule, estimated at 60% remote and 40% in-person.
As the Outpatient Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), you will play an integral role in supporting this Behavioral Health function.
This person will get to have a voice in developing, implementing, and evaluating Social Work programs for this health system during an exciting time.
This department is growing, having added 3 new roles in the past few months bringing it up to nearly 20 employees and is offering a wider array of therapy programs to its patients, now including individual, family, groups, and intensive Outpatient programs.
Clinically, this program has begun to add a wider range of interventions and modalities, including :
- Stress Management
- Supportive Therapies
- Crisis Intervention
- CBT (Cognitive & Behavioral Therapies)
- Skills Training
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will play an important role for the department and for patient services in general. Primary duties include performing psychosocial assessments of patients and families to understand level of function, environment, and adequacy of support.
This function will reoccur as the case and patient progress, so the Outpatient LCSW Therapist will help adjust treatment and assessment over time.
A large part of this assessment is offering therapy services when necessary and appropriate, and coordinating continuing care with other members of the overall healthcare community.
