Sales Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

As a key member of the ClickBank team, the Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the Sales & Account Management team.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for actively working with Sales as the key technical advisor. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

This includes identifying the technical issues on ClickBank accounts to assure customer satisfaction through all stages of Account Management and the onboarding process.

They must establish and maintain positive relationships and outcomes throughout the pre and post-sales cycles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of internal and customer-facing product demonstrations.
  • Train Sales on product features, enhancements, and integration requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends and provide insights on technical initiatives supporting revenue growth.
  • Responsible for representing the product to customers at Events, Tradeshows, Conferences, and webinars.
  • Responsible for creating prototypes and providing custom scripts to integrate ClickBank API with other platforms using php when needed.
  • Responsible for facilitating live web calls using Skype, or other conferencing software, with client's technical teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
  • Contribute quarterly to the creation of resources and examples that explain ClickBank solutions to prospects.
  • Translate customer requirements and explain product use cases to address client needs.
  • Travel may be required.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • 5+ years of relevant web development experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field that supports the key responsibilities of the job.
  • Knowledge and experience integrating with third-party apps using JSON-structured RESTful APIs is a plus.
  • Current knowledge of Direct Marketing technologies and trends.
  • Must possess exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills.
  • Proven track record in sales, technical sales, or consultative technical support.
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce and payments ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels and other tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Social ease and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality types.
  • Positive attitude and an outgoing personality with a high standard of decorum. Experience and familiarity with ClickBank's products and line of business.
  • Knowledge and experience with AWS, Cassandra, MySQL, serverless technologies.
  • Must work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.
  • Excellent team management and collaborative skills.
