Posting Details Business Title Manager, Marketing Posting Category Administrative and Professional Salary Grade 07 Salary Plan Professional Non Bargaining Hiring Range / Pay Rate Department Marketing / Public Affairs Department Description Position Location Main Campus FTE 1 Job Summary Responsible for producing and implementing marketing initiatives, programs, and projects for Cleveland State University (CSU).

Works with the marketing team to benchmark and provide performance analysis. Develops, monitors, and supports marketing operations and advertising budgets, including financial reporting and forecasting.

Promotes the mission and vision of CSU and ensures alignment with overarching communications and enrollment goals. Supervises assigned staff.

Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing.
  • Marketing experience within a higher education or agency setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Experience with marking analytics platforms, i.e., Google Analytics, tag management system, i.e., Google Tag Manager, open-source platform, i.e., Drupal.
  • Knowledge and experience on the factors that drive Search Engine Optimization.
  • Skills in in digital media.
  • Ability to understand website architecture and constructs, including basic knowledge of tracking pixels.
  • Knowledge of graphic design and constructs.
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and work as an individual contributor and an effective team player, in addition to being highly organized, self-directed, and forward-thinking.
  • Skilled in project management, problem-solving, analysis, follow-through, influence, and persuasion. The ability to function as systems thinker and be solution minded with a global perspective.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
