Job Description

Clayton Services is searching for an Operations Manager to join a thriving company in Southwest Houston. The Operations Manager will ensure smooth office operations, systems development, vendor management, payroll and benefits administration, training, and consultation on staff-related decisions.

Job Type : Direct-Hire or Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate : $80,000 - $110,000

Operations Manager Responsibilities :

  • Facilitating seamless office operations and implementing efficient protocols.
  • Providing oversight and management of payroll, human resources, and benefits administration.
  • Designing and implementing effective systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving challenges through strategic solutions.
  • Managing vendor agreements, insurance policies, and rental agreements.
  • Ensuring compliance by preparing and submitting annual property tax filings and auditing payroll tax payments.
  • Spearheading training and awareness initiatives to enhance employee knowledge.
  • Providing valuable insights and guidance to the management team in staff-related decision-making.
  • Conducting comprehensive orientation and training programs for new hires.

Administrative & Operations Manager Skills and Abilities :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to diagnose operational issues and analyze root causes.
  • Ability to identify and implement business process improvements.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several tasks simultaneously with varying deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Operations Manager Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 5+ years of operations / administration / HR experience.

Job Type : Direct-Hire

Pay Rate : $55,000 - $60,000 / year plus monthly bonus / incentives

Recruiter Responsibilities :

  • Implements efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Screens applications and coordinate with the hiring managers on scheduling interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring material.
  • Leads the job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, and start dates
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Recruiter Skills and Abilities :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Recruiter Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • At least five years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting various roles, including clerical and light industrial positions, is a must.
  • Experience with SAP / Success Factors is a plus.
  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.

Pay Rate : $50,000-$80,000 / year, depending on experience

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities :

  • Support a variety of marketing activities, including the maintenance of databases, client files, project description files, mailing lists, brochures, and mailers.
  • Assist in the production of a variety of statement of qualifications (SOQs)
  • Provide quality control checks, including proofreading for grammar and RFQ compliance
  • Work with technical staff to develop marketing materials and SOQs
  • Coordinate, update, and maintain internal marketing databases (resumes, project sheets, contacts, etc.)
  • Prepare and develop materials for meetings, presentations, and special marketing campaigns as needed
