Salary Range : $5,-&7, / month

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager operates independently and will work under the direction of the Director of Health to support the development and implementation of department-wide process improvement projects and establish project management standards and norms for all staff who implement projects.
  • Lead the implementation of the Health in All Policies framework across City departments.
  • Consult with staff on developing project plans, including project goals, timelines, budgets, and resources required.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, medical providers, health plans, and community organizations to successfully implement best practices.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient project delivery across the department.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor project progress and recommend project adjustments as needed to the Director of Health.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including tracking project milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide training and support to project team members and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, project management, construction management, engineering technology, construction engineering technology, engineering, city planning, landscape architecture, or architecture and 4 (OR an accredited Master's degree in the mentioned fields and 2) years of professional experience in project management or project management related work;

OR certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and 4 years as a PMP working in project management or project management related work.

May be required to pass a preemployment drug screen. Must possess a valid State-issued driver's license.
