Overview Position Summary : This position uses data collection, data query tools and data analytic tools to provide clinical data support for the Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine and the Virtual PICU for clinical research, clinical operations, and quality improvement initiatives.

The data analyst role will be focused on assisting in data query and acquisition, data management, analysis, and interpretation to provide data-driven insights to physicians, clinical researchers, and data scientists in the Virtual PICU.

The data analyst will be a part of a team of clinical informaticists, clinical researchers and data scientists to develop rules and methodologies for effective and efficient patient data management.

The analyst will also work collaboratively with data scientists and statisticians. The analyst will also identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline data entry and upgrade and enhance systems and applications with the goal of researching, identifying, and improving patient care.

The analyst will support and work collaboratively with informatics and quality improvement teams to perform data analysis in response to requests for clinical reports, creation of research data sets and financial analysis data and may provide statistical information to measure risk.

Furthermore, an important role will also be to work with a larger data analytics and informatics team to ensure data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications : 3+ year’s data analysis, information services or related experience. Specifically : Strong SQL Skills Experience with traditional Relational Databases Experience with data wrangling of structured and non-structured data Experience with data modeling and data pipelines Experience with Python Experience with Tableau Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies Education / Licensure / Certifications : BS or BA Degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, or related field.

Pay Scale Information USD $64,688.00 - USD $111,706.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.

Coordinates services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate patient care. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 1+ years’ experience as a social worker in a medical setting working with children, youth, and families.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Master’s degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation.

License as a Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) is preferred. Non-licensed social worker is expected to register as a Clinical Social Worker-Associate (ASW) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and actively pursue licensure.

Application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Director, Digital Marketing will lead the planning and execution of the digital marketing programs and key products in support of the CHLA’s strategic plans as well as partner with colleagues in the creation and implementation of an overall digital strategy that includes the full continuum of web-based initiatives to advance Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

This position oversees the strategy and related maintenance, updating and analytic reporting for CHLA web sites and digital products including email marketing and Salesforce a team of digital specialists, product managers and others.

The position focuses on interactive online methods to increase patient volume, engage and attract patients, cultivate referring physician relationships, promote the research enterprise, and attract new talent to the institution.

The Director, Digital Marketing is the marketing technology expert in the room who can speak to marketing automation, CRM operation, search engine marketing, and use of data for marketing purposes.

In addition, this position will assist the department executive and other leaders in defining digitally related organizational goals and strategic plans.

The Director will be responsible for digital marketing resource allocation, including budget and personnel. While reporting within Marketing Communications, this role must actively partner and collaborate with leaders and colleagues in Information Services, Digital Transformation, Foundation The Saban Research Institute, Provider Relations, Academic Affairs, and Patient Family Education and Experience, among others.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience :

Minimum 10 years’ experience in digital marketing developing and managing websites, email marketing and consumer relationship database products.

At least 5 years of experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies while leading people. Experience in an academic medical center, university or other health care setting preferred.

  • Experience with marketing automation and Salesforce products required.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies and using the Scrum framework is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with developing, planning and executing paid digital marketing strategies and initiatives, including SEM, paid social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Possesses ability to analyze and develop complex business / marketing models for sophisticated acquisition programs.
  • Requires technical understanding and expertise in front-end development, UX / UI, analytics and reporting best practices;

Strong understanding of UX / UI design principles and ADA requirements

  • Understanding of digital technologies and interfaces to backend systems. In addition, road-mapping skills, product visioning, project management, critical thinking, communication and presentation skills are imperative.
  • Familiarity with Drupal and other CMS platforms.
  • Able to adapt technologies and digital marketing strategies to reflect consumer experience journeys and marketing pipelines;

apply consumer journeys and the principles of trauma-informed care as well as patient- and family-centric care to decision making and development / management of digital products and properties.

  • Ability to develop business rules and requirements documentation for digital product launches.
  • Expert knowledge of analytics platforms and setting up KPI dashboards.
  • Expertise with project management platforms (such as Adobe Workfront).
  • Proficiency in using digital asset management platforms (WebDAM) and knowledge of metadata best practices.
  • Proficiency in using other Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and file-sharing programs such as Box.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, prioritize multiple tasks across multiple teams, and work quickly with fast turnaround times.
  • Must be a team player, active collaborator, proactive problem-solver and a quick learner.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail. Education / Licensure / Certification :
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer sciences, information technologies or related field or equivalent knowledge required.

Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Public Relations Specialist role within Marketing Communications is responsible for protecting, promoting and managing CHLA’s image and reputation through crafting and implementing strategic media relations and public relations tactics at the local, regional and national levels.

Additionally, this person surfaces clinical, research and patient stories and content that further the institution’s visibility and reputation.

The Public Relations Specialist reports, writes and pitches content for placement in earned and owned channels, plans press events, fields media queries, crafts holding statements and compiles a daily media brief of CHLA earned media.

In addition, the position requires providing monthly, quarterly and annual metrics and ROI reports, utilizing media monitoring systems such as Cision Analytics.

The Public Relations Specialist will work with team members across the hospital spectrum who provide services to patients and their families, often from diverse, under-resourced communities.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : Minimum 3 years of paid experience in public or media relations cultivating relationships with journalists, developing media pitches, creating media monitoring analytics reports, planning press events and writing a wide range of communication tactics.

Experience in agency public relations, academic medical center communications, university, or other health care setting a plus.

Journalism experience covering health care may be considered in lieu of public / media relations experience. Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, English, journalism, marketing or related field.
