Operations Worker Janitor
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Provides general operations and maintenance services for the facility. Tasks include, cleaning, setting up for activities, receiving deliveries, and maintaining inventory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma / GED preferred
- 1 year experience working in an operations capacity (janitorial / maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse)
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced operational environment
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Must have reliable mode of transportation to get to and from work
- Must have a valid NV identification card
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
Responsible for basic cleaning of building offices to include cubicles, restrooms, restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, sweeping and mopping tile floors, etc.
- Sanitizes and disinfecting high touch surfaces using approved methods and chemicals
- Clean, sanitize and disinfect sleeping mats using approved methods and chemicals
- Deploy and recover sleeping mats during designated times
- Assist in setting up venues for events including tables and chairs
- Monitors and maintains the property free of trash
- Properly clean and dispose of biohazard spills
- Facilitate access to guest storage units and maintain storage units neat and well organized
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Enter data into inventory and tracking system
- Assist with inventory and quality control checks
- Uses proper protective equipment at all times
- Performs additional duties as necessary

The CPLC Pediatric Access Line (PAL) psychologist has the lead role in delivering short-term psychotherapy for youth across the state of NV, both in-person and virtually.
The psychologist works closely with the PAL psychiatrist to develop programming, educational material, outreach, and program development in our innovative program bringing access to children’s mental health services statewide.
Clinical Psychologist Job Responsibilities :
- Selects, administers, scores, interprets psychological tests, and completes psychological assessments.
- Assesses patients and makes recommendations on admission and discharge and on therapeutic activities.
- Conducts various forms of individual and family psychotherapy, including behavior modification and specialized treatment modalities such as DBT and interventions for cognitively impaired patients.
- Consults with the PAL psychiatrist and the team regarding patient status.
- When indicated, writes reports regarding patient progress and facilitates the transition to long-term services.
- Participates in the treatment team, staff, and professional meetings.
- Participates in training programs on behalf of the PAL program.
- Works collaboratively with other disciplines.
- Participates in writing articles for publication.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements :
- Ph.D. in clinical psychology

Medical Assistant
OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assessing, facilitating, and monitoring all components of client medical services.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations in policy development and implementation according to State Licensing and ORR (Office of Refugee Resettlement), as well as on-going program refinement based on advances in the program.
This position is not a supervisory position.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Advance typing and computer skills required to perform the responsibilities.
Schedule and comply with required medical, dental, and specialized appointments and timelines.
Obtain, compile, and maintain EMR (Electronic Medical Record), medical documentation on each admission health related information, and discharge.
Ensure proper daily documentation in CPLC (Chicanos Por La Causa) Program’s databases and ORR-UAC Portal and maintain hard copy of required documents and EMR available.
Respond, asses, and comply with client’s medical complaints, urgent and emergency medical needs immediately.
Maintain and review accurate and complete list of medical supplies, prescribed medications, and over the counter (OTC) medications according to the standing orders.
Prepare youth for examinations and record the medical intake, take vital signs, height, and weight. Initiate routine lab tests.
Completed required medical assessments
Participate and advocate during any medical procedures performed by medical providers and health services.
Assist the medical providers’ staff with examination procedures when needed, such as patient screening / triage.
Dispense medication according to the supervision of self-administration of medication (SAOM) schedule, policies, and procedures according to the CPLC and Licensing standards.
Collect, maintain, and submit daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to supervisor as required.
Facilitate and conduct supervision of SAOM practicum, universal precautions, TB 101, allergies and other medical related training to employees and clients according to the program needs.
Provide a fail-safe plan with medication count, label accuracy, and supervision of SAOM, including over the counter, prescribed and psychotropic medication.
Educate and counsel youth concerning their medical status, disease, treatment, and prevention of disease and other health related topics.
Schedule and provide transportation to clients on medical appointments with assistance from floor staff as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
High School Diploma / GED
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA); Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN); Certified Medical Office (CMO); or related medical field certification (e.
g., phlebotomy, pharmacy etc..), WITH 1 (one) to 2 (two) years of experience in a health care setting with pediatric / adolescence population preferred.
Associate / bachelor's degree in any related health - Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in a hospital, clinic, medical record department or physician’s office.
Including any volunteer or internship experience)
Foreign Graduates in Medical Sciences (e.g., physicians and nurses) : Applicants from countries or territories outside the USA (United States of America) must meet the above stated criteria.
Advance typing and computer skills.
Bilingual. (Spanish / English). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common medical reports and legal documents. Cleared Tuberculosis test results.
Immunization documentation : Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Td / Tdap), Varicella, Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), Hepatitis A and B and COVID-19
Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
Cleared drug test results (for Texas programs only).
Comply with annual training requirements / licensure / certifications.
Valid Drivers’ License.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on-call evenings and weekends.
