Mika System Manager Inclusion and Belonging Overview

Schedule Requirements : 2 weekend shifts per month (Sat or Sun) and 2 holidays per year, some weekday availability

Compensation : $50 / hr

As our Physical Therapist at CHI Health Immanuel, you’ll help our patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following an illness, injury, or issues with aging.

Using various treatments, you will help patients reduce pain, build strength and endurance, increase range of motion, or develop better balance to keep them functioning at their best level.

You’re always ready for the next task. Our physical therapists see patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or treatments.

Our therapists perform most treatments themselves. You’ll work with a variety of backgrounds - orthopedic injury or surgery recovery, traumatic brain injury, stroke, or conditions affecting balance, to name a few.

This environment is busy and fast-paced but full of collaborative and supportive team members willing to offer help, advice, or mentoring at any time.

To thrive as a physical therapist, you must be a team player. You’ll constantly collaborate with other therapists, patients, and their families to seek the best possible treatment outcome.

You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every day.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and therapists to develop and execute a treatment plan for each patient
  • Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re-evaluations to indicate the level of progress
  • Document all treatments and note any status changes
  • Tailor treatments to individual patients as needed - don’t be afraid to think creatively or do a little extra
  • Seek new learning opportunities and be a resource when others need to learn from you
  • Consistently offer the best care possible to every patient

Qualifications

Required Education : Any combination of BS, MS, MPT, DPT

Required Licensure and Certification : Active physical therapy license in the state of Iowa or physical therapy licensure compact.

American Heart Association BLS.

Responsibilities

Sign on Bonus $1500 for full time positions

What you'll do :

  • Conducts Initial investigations and appropriate followup for security incidents and writes a security 360 report documenting all findings
  • Conducts proactive foot and vehicle patrols of the entire campus to include all floors and buildings.
  • Responds to all radio calls for a variety of services to include but not limited to : escorts, property pick-up, disturbances, standby’s and code calls.
  • Stays current on all required training to include CPI, PPCT and required computer courses. Receives mandatory flu shot annually.
  • Is able to view camera’s and save footage.
  • Is able to run the C-cure program to include giving clearances and locking of doors.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with team members visitors and patients. Follows department dress code.
  • Ability to deescalate and maintain control in security situations.

Required Qualifications :

  • High School or Equivalent.
  • BLS is required upon hire.
  • Current driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • High School diploma, some college preferred.
  • Previous Security, Military or law enforcement
  • First aid
