Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Boston, MA at Boston Children’s Hospital.

In the Project Manager role, you can do that by overseeing and coordinating all activities related to successful contract performance, help with immersion of new talent into the organization and support expansion efforts and business optimization initiatives.

What you will do!

In the Project Manager role, you will be tasked with applying structured methodology to manage change as a project. This includes defining key project milestones, deliverables, and stakeholders, such as : identifying, analyzing, and preparing risk tactics, supporting communication, and training efforts, engaging project stakeholders;

tracking / reporting issues, defining / measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress.

While this role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities; you will act as a coach and advisor to the senior leaders on the team and provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they work to meet the needs of our client.

In addition, you will support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities. Participate in the development and implementation of all site-specific SOP's, as well as ensuring they are adhered to, in addition to all other required documentation related to the department.

In this role you will need to generate and submit internal and external reports; actively interact with customers to solve requests, inquiries, and complaints and to provide technical assistance.

Ensure optimum performance of group functions; recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices.

Assist in any contract related activity as assigned by Client and / or Operations Manager to complete the required work.

Who are we looking for?

A candidate that possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Organization Leadership, Animal Science, or related discipline. 5-8 years of experience in a laboratory animal facility of which a minimum of 3 years Project Management experience is required (high emphasis on organization change and transformation).

Prosci Change Practitioner Certification or other Change Management Certification is highly preferred. AALAS certification at the Laboratory Animal Technologist level (LATG) or above required.

CMAR preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements as listed above.

The pay for this position is $115-120K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
