Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Primary responsibilities include :

Copywriting and Content Development (60%)

  • Writes, edits, and proofreads a wide variety of content to ensure proper flow, grammar, punctuation, spelling and company voice are present
  • Brainstorms and advances topics that create value and inform clients and prospects of opportunities
  • Interviews subject matter experts to glean information necessary to begin writing projects
  • Conducts research on topics as necessary to demonstrate well-rounded view and coverage
  • Distills complex and / or technical topics into laymen's terms where necessary
  • Create wide variety of content-from long- and short-form content, including but not limited to copywriting, ad copy, emails, ebooks, blogs, infographics, video storyboarding
  • Effectively collaborates with the content team, designer and digital marketers to successfully create engaging content and campaigns

Content Scalability (25%)

  • Identifies, investigates, and responds to potential threats, reported security violations / incidents.
  • Conducts security audits, recommends, and implements corrective actions.
  • Support the Vulnerability Management program to identify, communicate, and track vulnerabilities and patches for critical systems and devices.
  • Support and manage threat detection solutions and processes including new deployments, maintenance, monitoring and investigation, and Security Operations Center team support.
  • Support and assist with security endpoint and email solutions, system information and event management (SIEM), password vault, and network firewalls as needed with the focus on minimizing threats and exposure risks to CBIZ.
  • Recommend, pilot, and deploy additional security products and tools, or enhancements to existing tools, to detect violations of network security measures and malicious activities.
  • Develop and implement, as required, the necessary monitoring and detection solutions to audit and enforce company policies, controls, and standards.
  • Conduct research on emerging threats and mitigating security products, services, and standards to protect our systems, networks, and data.
  • Assist with the development of security policy, awareness materials, presentations, and training sessions to ensure employee awareness of appropriate information security policies and controls.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, CISA, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with network and application vulnerability management and assessment solutions.
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards including the NIST Cyber Security Framework and ISO 27002 Information Security Control standards.
  • Experience with threat detection solutions and incident and breach response activities.
  • Understanding of data protection requirements relating to personally identifiable information and protected health information.
  • Knowledge of information security and computer network, application, and user access technologies including email security and encryption, multi-factor authentication, end-point security, anti-virus / anti-malware, and security log management.

  • Writes, edits, and proofreads thought leadership content to ensure proper flow, grammar, punctuation, spelling and company voice are present and content is channel optimized to generate results.
  • Collaborates with design team and other teammates to successfully launch content / marketing campaigns.
  • Distills complex and / or technical topics into laymen's terms.
  • Responsible for managing outsourced content writing relationships, needs and schedules - incorporating into overall content planning / calendar.
  • Follows established writing standards and company tone to ensure compliance and consistency in all materials.
  • Interviews subject matter experts to glean information necessary for writing projects.
  • Ensures collaboration across the content team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all platforms.
  • Partners with Corporate Marketing and other practices on content for companywide initiatives.
  • Works with content team members to update internal sites.

Content Strategy (25%)

  • Analyzes content performance and evolves strategy to enhance results.
  • Works closely with the Growth Marketing Director to package and place content that produces results.
  • Proactively prepares and maintains editorial and content calendar(s) that aligns with the marketing plan, strategic initiatives, and key industries and service offerings.
  • Interpret marketing analytics and report on metrics and trends to drive future strategies and development of innovative content.

Content Scalability and Communications (25%)

  • Builds relationships with key internal subject matter experts.
  • Proactively communicates content updates to internal clients, business developers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop scalable processes for content creation with both internal and external subject-matter experts.

Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • 7+ years writing experience, preferably in a B2B professional services environment.Experience with the accounting industry a plus.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrative experience developing and executing comprehensive content plans and calendars.
  • Superlative writing skills with demonstrated ability to create clear and compelling content that infuses creativity and action.
  • Experience creating compelling titles and smart CTAs.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Discerning attention to detail including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and proofreading.
  • Ability to translate marketing metrics and performance to pivot content direction when necessary.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
